Bundeena Waterfront Pavilion is located on the peninsula of the picturesque village of Bundeena, located in the spectacular Sydney’s heritage-listed Royal National Park. This park is affectionately known to locals as the ‘Nasho’ or just ‘the Royal’. Established in 1879, it’s the world's second-oldest national park. It features unique heritage attractions, along with fascinating plants, birds, and animals. Perfect for bushwalking, cycling, surfing, picnicking, dolphins, or whale watching, this diverse park offers everything from beaches to rainforest.
The name Bundeena is an aboriginal word meaning “noise like thunder” and when you hear the waves lap up against the waterfront rocks of the pavilion it’s easy to understand why. You will find traces of the original inhabitants, the Dharawal people in rock carvings and middens throughout the area.
For Sydney siders, this Bundeena holiday house is just an hour’s drive from the Sydney CBD, Sydney airport, a 55km drive south of Sydney including the best drive of 25km through the winding roads of magnificent Royal National Park, or a relaxing ferry crossing from Cronulla, the 16,000ha Royal National Park is like a big, beautiful backyard. Whether you come for a morning jog or a week-long camping holiday, you’ll discover something new each time.
This paradise offers a great escape into a setting of secluded bays, beaches, bushland, and breathtaking views. The final lap of 25kms drive through the majestic rainforests, winding roads of the Roya National Park is sure to set you up for a great holiday.
It’s a perfect short trip family holiday accommodation, for family and friends to come together and make some lasting memories. We want you to have a safe and enjoyable experience pavilion.
Please do help yourself to teas, coffee, drinks, and anything in the open pantry and/or the fridge, just reach out if you need anything at all.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at the Pavillion. The spectacular view is clearly the draw card but the house is well appointed and comfortable. There is plenty of room for dining and relaxing in the living area. It’s great having the bedrooms separated and upstairs. The sunset from the seating area just above the rocks can’t be beaten. We would happily return to the Pavillion.
