The outside could use some maintenance, but not terrible. The inside was decently clean, could use a pest treatment and a good cleaning throughout. There were some spider webs throughout the space. I am not a hard person to please so didn't bother me too much but not everybody is easy going. Hopefully this will help to maximize your rental property.

We had a great time, there were 9 of us….ages from 8yrs old to 57 yrs old and everyone was happy. The bedroom arrangements were perfect, all the adults had their own space and the kids were able to have theirs. Our teenagers loved the loft area and claimed it as their own(except for the primary bedroom…we weren’t giving that up)!! We even had extended family over for dinner and there was plenty of seating for everyone. The home is close enough to Anderson that if we needed something it was a quick trip into town. We would love to come back when the weather is cooler so we can fully enjoy the fire ring and drinking our morning coffee on the front porch!!

We were down to celebrate my sons graduation from Clemson. This spot was perfect for my family of 5, two sets of aunts/uncles and his 85 year old grandmother! We had a last minute cancellation for our dog sitter, so we brought him as well! The property & neighborhood was fun to walk/explore. The open floor plan and huge porches worked great for family meals and games!
The house was clean, and very rustic with a great get a way feel.

The location of this property is beautiful. Nestled on a wooded lot. Very private and beautiful. There is so much potential in this property. The only downsides were certain areas could have used a little TLC. The upstairs deck was not to code and it was missing a picket in the rail system that someone could have easily fallen through. I am almost certain bees are building their nest inside the soffit on the back upstairs deck area. The coffee pot did not work. All this and I am almost certain we would stay here again.

Loved layout of house. Propery was wooded and private.

House was great for large group - plenty of room to spread out - If you are looking for somewhere truly off the grid this place is perfect! Main issue was very limited Verizon and AT&T cell service and wifi was slow and intermittent.

The property looked great at first. Alot of cobwebs inside and it didnt looked like anyone had stayed for a while. Had broken glass on the grounds and wasn't very kid safe. 2 of the room ac units had developed leaks and had to have towels to minimize spread. It soaked some items I had set near it. Master bathroom wasnt very clean and there was alot of hair in the drain like it wasnt properly cleaned the last time.

The pictures of the property are amazing; however, reality doesn't match. It looks like the property was recently renovated and still had a lot of exposed wood edges, outlets, etc. The location is convenient and close to Clemson.

We enjoyed our stay. We felt safe and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. The property manager was worried about noise from construction and sent us a fruit basket. We thought this was very thoughtful considering it was not a bother. We would stay here again.

We were in Townville for the National Junior Bassmasters tournament on Lake Hartwell and this beautiful property was perfect for our 10-day stay. The place was well-equipped with about everything we would want or need, and it easily accommodated the ten of us who stayed there. We loved the rustic look, the great porch for relaxing after long days and the quietness and privacy of the location off the road and in the trees. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of linens for everyone, and a great supply of expendable paper products. There was plenty of parking, to include plenty of space for the truck pulling the bass boat and trailer. There is a boat launch less than a mile from the property, which made it very quick and easy to get on the water early in the morning. Sven was a good host and provided us plenty of useful information about the property. Should we be back to Lake Hartwell for another tournament, we will certainly look to stay here again.

The property has great potential but needs a lot of work before guests can truly enjoy it. Upon entry, it had a smell to it. Once the air was turned on, it semi cleared. It was not cleaned thoroughly and the extra towels were wet and had to be rewashed. Door handles fell off, back door would not lock, wall units leaked to the point of leaving puddles on the floors. The guest bedrooms tvs weren’t hooked up and the internet was not efficient to use the downstairs tv. Needs a property booklet with updated information and how to troubleshoot appliances, which where not properly installed. Had bad storms and lost power, would have been great to have an emergency number to call. Maybe some flashlights. This property has a great back yard but is not usable. As previously stated, this property has great potential, but needs work.

Great Place to stay! It’s relaxing and secluded. Great communication with the property manager. We will definitely be back!
