About this house rental
Perfect holiday home! Dog friendly and in central Whitstable located right next to the beach, fishing boat harbour unique shops and delicious restaurants of Whitstable.
Sleeps 5 guests and an infant or 4 adults, 2 small children and an infant.
Providing the highest quality comfortable beds, ensuring a great nights sleep, Free WiFi, Smart TV, outside alfresco dining area for those warm summer evenings. Sea La Vie is the place to be!
Your sleep matters...
- The master bedroom is furnished with a luxurious super king size bed (180cm) from Dream’s Nature’s finest and a queen size John-Lewis sofa-bed (perfect for 2 children or one adult)
- The second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds (90cmx2) with very comfortable Simba Hybrid mattresses. They can be pushed together to make a super king size bed (180cm).
- There are black-out blinds in each bedroom and in the living room (for unexpected nights on the sofa!!)

- South-facing fenced patio
- Charcoal BBQ (bring your own charcoal)

Kid friendly
The owners 2-year old daughter loves this house. The patio is fenced for safety, there are a few toys, books, a small table and two chairs for her to play. There is a travel cot, but please bring your own linen. There are NO baby gates, but most rooms have a door to contain curiosity! The house is 1-minute away the nearest public playground.

DOGS ARE ONLY ALLOWED DOWNSTAIRS IN THIS PROPERTY, ANY ADDITONAL CLEANING CHARGES WILL APPLY IF THERE IS EVIDENCE OF DOGS BEING UPSTAIRS.
Important things to note about parking: the property has a carport area for loading/ unloading luggages & shopping. Guests are not allow to permanently park there for prolonged stay because our neighbours have a right of way.
Middle wall parking is just in front the property, but also free parking space will be indicated in neighbouring streets (we will share with you some tips!!)

This house was clean, tidy, and airy, but the kitchen and bathroom door handles were very stiff and need attention.
This house is advertised with parking and pet friendly. However, the ‘parking’ comprised the ability to load and unload under the adjacent car port. We were told by the renter after we had booked that we needed to find parking on side streets or waste land for all other parking. The side streets were full of cars owned by residents and the scrub land was full of rubbish and pot holes. The woman who runs the shop behind the house parked her silver car under the car port all day. In fact, her car is the one in the photograph of the car port on the VRBO website.
There is a large car park opposite the house. The charge was £1.60 per hour 8:30am to 9:00pm then a charge of £2:00 overnight. We spent almost £50 on car parking fees.
THIS PROPERTY DOES NOT HAVE PARKING.
The house is advertised as pet friendly. It is stated that pets are only allowed downstairs and if there was evidence of pets going up stairs, then there would be an extra cleaning charge. I was happy with this, I have two little dogs that sleep in their crates at night and don’t come into the bedroom. When we arrived we found that the downstairs comprised the entrance hall, a downstairs toilet and a small galley kitchen. All of the living accommodation was on the first and second floors. This meant that the dogs could not be with us in the houseThis was very stressful.
THE HOUSE IS NOT PET FRIENDLY.
