There is no lift, don't bring too much luggage. The staffs are very nice and willing to help. Room service breakfast was delicious. There is a post office opposite he street.

My friend and I stayed at this pension for one night. Staff was very nice and friendly. The room was decorated beautifully and was also clean. Breakfast was delicious. Location is also good. I think you can visit Český Krumlov just for one day trip, but I recommend staying at nice pension like this and enjoy the night view as well.

Only 5 minutes walk to stop, if you r carrying luggage, this is your only choice (CK都是石春地, 拖行李箱會很苦). Nice staff. Big and cozy. Nice breakfast (5€ @). Kitchen and self-serve drinks (water, soft drink and beer) are just outside the room. 2 minutes walk to State Castle.

Lovely place close to everything. Room was very cute and perfect for a small family. Breakfast was very good and big. Would love to return!

it is just near to the entrance of the town, so we dont have to take our luggage through the town. only thing is that there is no lift( a problem for older folk). love the huge balcony.

we wanted to stay longer but there was no room. the owner or the woman in charge helped us to get another great place for the next night. great service. really appreciate!

This is a fantastic little hotel to stay at in Cesky Krumlov. We had the Attic Apartment and it was simply stunning! There was an awesome private patio that had views of the Castle and the town, a small kitchenette a refrigerator full of mineral water, wines, and local beers that were all extremely affordable and the hosts were above and beyond friendly and helpful (one of our traveling party lost his passport somewhere in town and the manager (who's name I'm forgetting at the moment) helped us track it down. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is truly a beautiful space!

You can walk it all in 10 15 mins. The hotel was super loud. You could hear everyone Walking around old boards cracking as people walked on them. The bed was just a box spring no mattress. Hard as a rock. Noisey room because it faced the main street. You have to pay to use the hot tub. 20 euros! Would not recommend staying here.

The staff was nice and the place was comfortable, which made us feel like home during the stay.

The hosts are lovely, helpful and kind. Our room looked exactly like the pictures on the website. The back garden was beautiful. I wish we had had more time to sit there and enjoy a morning coffee.

this pension is very centre of Cesky Krumlov, and location just walking distance from here.

Room stated to have city views and pillow top mattress well that was wrong the worst possible bed no view except of the post office across the street. Street noise persisted all night with cars thumping over the cobble stone street. In need of a good make over as it is very tired.

Couldn't ask for a more friendly and accommodating staff. The location is not far (within walking distance) to castle and shops in the village.

Pension Ametyst was very conveniently located - a short walk from the bus stop. As a solo female traveller - I found it easy to catch the bus from Prague to C-K with only about a 5 minute walk to the Pension from the bus stop. My room was comfy and clean, with a breakfast tray served in the room. I would happily return to Pension Ametyst.

We decided last minute to visit Cesky Krumlov to attend the St. Wenceslas Celebration. I booked this pension and then got the last available seat on a 6 AM bus out of Prague. We arrived in Cesky Krumlov at 9 AM and found the hotel. They had two empty rooms, so let us look and choose which we wanted. We were able to check in early and not have to worry about our luggage was a huge relief! They spoke passable English, so we were able to get everything settled.The room was very quaint and comfortable. The rooms seemed to have recently been remodeled. The bathroom in particular had new fixtures and lighting, with a heated floor and a spacious tub. Heat in the rooms was by an oil-filled space heater in the room that we could control, and it kept the room comfortably warm. The bed was a double (which is a king size in American terms) and comfortable. Even my wife, who is more sensitive to different mattresses, slept well. We only spent one night, and they were happy to hold our luggage until 5:30 PM when our bus left.The only complaint that we had was with the WiFi in the room. From my laptop, I could connect to the wifi, but never get to the Internet. The owner came and looked at my laptop settings and reset the router, but no success. From two iPhones and an iPad, we could not even see the wifi network. I was able to connect my laptop via a cable, so that got us the little access that we needed, but we never could get the wifi working.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They also own the jewelry store next door, and sometimes need to go there to get a hold of staff. A very good hotel for the budget minded traveller, with a very easy walk from the bus stop. It had all the comforts that one needed in a great town.

The host has really nice smile and served us wonderful breakfast at the time we want. Great place to stay.

We chose the Ametyst because its so handy for the bus station. And the rooms here are very pleasant and spotlessly clean. The staff are amiable and stored our luggage for us as we were leaving after checkout time. So thanks for that. But we couldn't actually recommend this pension because for the money we paid we found the breakfast really silly........the worst we experienced in the Czech Republic. You are asked to choose between about seven different combinations, all excluding something quite basic. The system is to deliver it to your room on a tray. Both in size and quality it is a great disappointment and left us completely unsatisfied. We stayed in cheaper places which produced a far more generous and tasty offering.

Things we liked: GREAT location. Literally minutes to the castle, monestry, churches, river and many great restaurants. Bathroom was fabulous - seemingly recently renovated (although no shower holder may be hard for some - just a handheld shower head in the bathtub!) and very clean. Good TV chanels and WIFI. Big room with table and chairs, sofa and small kitchen. Things we didn't like: The bed wasn't very comfy - soft and lumpy, two single doonas put sideways on the bed (not sure why?!). Photo/image of a topless woman next to the bed (not our personal taste...). Tablecloth had food stains on parts of it. The kitchen which was in the first part of the room wasn't very clean (cups etc were dirty) and it had visible boxes/storage on top of the cupboards. Also note, paid parking was about 300m away, in a brewery carpark, but was locked at night.
