This place is clean, modern, and far enough away from town that you really feel like you are in the backcountry

Really unique place to stay. Like a tent but huge inside, and with a wood panelled floor, and electricity, and comfort. Problem for me is it was a really windy night which was loud and made the dome covering shake and flap against the dome’s frame. Definitely not the fault of the owners. Given the size of the dome there is room for a king sized bed, and for the price I would expect a bigger bed. Also, the water to the property is a very healthy mineral water with a mineral water smell. If you’ve ever been to Iceland you’ll know what I mean. Bathroom was 10 steps away and though small worked perfectly and was spotless clean. Wish there was a hair dryer. Last “wished for” item is outlets with USB-C connections, and fewer of the older USB connections. All modern phones, computers, etc. use the newer connection so make sure to bring your plug in adapter.

Really great stay. Clean, beautiful, lots of extra comforts. Only negative thing I have to say is it’s right on the highway.

These domes are fantastic places to get away for a weekend. Easy to find, but the location is quiet and within 45 minutes of multiple national recreation areas or parks. Next time we come back up to this area would absolutely stay again!

Off season - It felt like we had the desert to ourselves!
Major amenities are provided, luxuries are not; price reflects appropriately.
This area is great for stargazing.
15 minutes to the very small town of Hanksville was a great outlet for gas and groceries.
The location of these domes are conveniently within arms reach of Capitol Reef National Park, and a 50 minute shortcut (.vs. staying in Torrey) to Goblin Valley State Park, Arches, and Canyonlands National Parks.

That is the only word for this place. We were so impressed with our one night stay. We received an email with instructions a few days before. The instructions were more than sufficient. We got in after dark and had no issues getting into our dome. We walked in and it was just as the picture had shown, maybe even better. We struggled a tad figuring out how to get the heat running. Other than that, we settled right in. The bathroom is not in the dome and you have to walk about 20 feet to the bathroom house. But you have a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet specifically assigned to your dome. We found it clean and well stocked. The bed in the dome was comfortable and we are actually considering purchasing the same mattress for home. We woke up to a nice view and sunrise. The outdoor area had a covered picnic table, grill and corn hole. Because of our schedule and the chilly night we didn’t get to use it but it was charming and would have been awesome to have had we been there longer. It was close to both Capitol Reef NP and Glen Canyon Rec Area. There is not much in Huntsville but we did eat breakfast at Dukes Slickrock Grill and it was very good and unique. If we are ever in the area again we will certainly stay here.

Thank you for an out of the box, but fabulous place for us to relax at after long days of hiking and exploring.

A fantastic unique experience. Comfortable bed. Dome is well equipped and huge. It has power and even a whisper quiet a/c. Separate bathroom for our dome has a shower and towels. Everything was spotlessly clean. Remote location but it does have cell service.
