Solaz is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and enormous with great view of the ocean. The staff is superb across-the-board. And the facility is beautiful, with incredible native landscaping, gorgeous pools and restaurants. My only complaint was the gym, which has fantastic equipment and lots of space, but the air conditioning was broken, and I heard from another guest that it was the same last time that they were visiting. At 85° and humid it was unusable

Excellent service, all the staff went out of their way to help and make us feel at home.

Sign up for a transportation and they offer a discount based on premise that you will attend a presentation about the premise. However they will purposely be vague when asked about this presentation. When you actually attend the “presentation” it turns out to be a 2 hour sales pitch trying to get you to invest into the property. Despite me telling them I didn’t come on vacation to invest in the property, I came to spend time with my family, they kept pushing to sell the property which was quite irritating and aggravating. After meeting with THREE different sales people that tried to get me to invest in their property, they finally let me go. They even expressed that they put this hotel on Expedia for the purpose of finding people to sell their property to.
Other than that, the staff were nice and great. If you have benefits or rewards, you’re going to really have to push for it because they will seem reluctant to give it to you.
The pool was amazing
The food was alright, I would leave the resort for better options.
The property seems a little dated. With water stains on the wall and rust in the cracks.

Beautiful setting. Very in tuned with the natural landscape. Stunning Infinity pools which make for a very relaxing environment.

Great property for the family vacation.
Alejandra and Kayla were our ambassador and they were super generous and assisted what I needed.

Every single staff member was friendly and helpful, even those I encountered in a hall or on an elevator. They were so welcoming and warm, I told my spouse about it when I got home! My room was spotless and odorless. The beds, pillows and linens were very comfortable. Thanks for a comfortable, quiet night, and especially for your wonderful staff. This is how a roadside hotel should

Hotel allowed a large wedding to take over the facility. Loud, they had to shut down 1/2 of the pool for the day prior to the wedding. Very loud band played unti 1 AM. All non attendees complained.

Beautiful hotel with views and architecture. Rooms are spacious and very clean but we had a water leak in our first room and the washing machine didn’t work in the room we were moved to. Be aware this is part of a time share and they try to get you to take a tour/join. They do offer a decent discount if you take the tour. The child care center was wonderful and full of fun activities! The staff was very helpful overall.

Amazing resort. Best stay in Cabo.

Modern and aesthetically pleasing but doesn’t feel like a 5 star experience. Staff treats you like it’s. 2 star resort. Better to stay at the Montage or Four Seasons.

We had a fabulous 4 night stay at The Club at Solaz. Our room was incredible, the service was perfect, food was great, and property was stunning. A great place for a family vacation with our two teenagers. Highly recommend. Great location. Great time. Great place to kick back and relax.

I hated everything about my stay here. From check-in where I was told the HEAVILY advertised “swimmable beach “ was not in fact recommended for swimming, to the awful villa we were assigned. I made these plans months in advance and still waited hours to be assigned a terrible room. When I asked for a room with an actual ocean view (as booked) we waited hours for a tower room. We arrived around 1pm, ate $140 snacks (cups, guacamole, quesadilla and drinks) and it was dark by the time we entered our EXTREMELY noisy room. The “manager” “showed” us our room by pushing the elevator button and left us wandering through dark hallways to find our room. The numbers has come off the door so that was a challenge. We entered what felt like a room in the middle of a freeway, the noise was so deafening. The room was okay. They insisted on correcting us every time we said “room” with “villa”. Okay but it’s in a tower and no different from any two-room suite. It feels closed off the way the living and sleeping spaces are decided by a long wall. It was dark so we couldn’t see our view until the next morning. It was good but ruined by the highway noise. The floors were dirty and I kept cleaning spots of something caked on as if they just ran a dry mop over them but didn’t actually scrub. The hard pressure at check-in to attend a timeshare presentation was endless. We said no at least five times and Rocío did not let up. We had to ask for everything at least twice. I could go on. Don’t stay here

The property was beautiful. The 2 bedroom suite was spacious with a huge balcony the had a hot tub and a gorgeous view. The full kitchen was equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, but we ate at 2 of the 6 restaurants on the property and they served up delicious meals. Room service was delicious, too! Although the beach is not one that is recommended for swimming, the pools were wonderful with swim up bar and excellent service. There was not one time that we called that the front desk was not courteous and helpful. Best trip ever! Please note: we stayed in the suites which is considered a part of a 'club'. That means they will try to hook you into listening to a sales presentation. Free breakfast was delicious and tour of the property was nice but do know that you will give up about 3 hours of your day if you agree to listen to the pitch. Other than that, I don't have one complaint. Excellent stay!

Top notch across the board. The rooms, grounds, and restaurants are immaculate. One minor issue is they classify their rooms with an unobstructed ocean view as ocean front. This may be common in some parts of the word, but I have always found that ocean front means on the beach, and ocean view means just that. They define their rooms differently, as there are no direct beach access rooms. So the rooms up higher in the tower are ocean front and the lower rooms with slightly less of a view are ocean view. Other than that, our trip to Solaz was amazing!

Excellent property, great service, beautiful ocean view!

Amazing architectural building design, property layout design and room layout design. Simply cannot beat this ocean view. Outstanding spa and amenities. Kids/family friendly. Infinity pools takes the cake. Did I say gorgeous rooms? Allow me to repeat, "gorgeous rooms."

Great design and architecture, but service was not as expected.

The architecture and design of the hotel. Also the cleanliness and the museum which described some of bajas history.

This hotel deserves a 5-star ranking for the amenities and the attentiveness of the staff. The grounds and the location is perfect. We spent every day in one of the four infinity pools stretching across the property, and also enjoyed the swim up bar. The staff could not be more gracious. I liked being half way between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose de Los Cabos so that we could grab a $10 uber and go to either location for touring around, yet not get caught up in the tourist activity. Although the ocean is so choppy, we enjoyed beautiful walks on the beach every day, and were able to make an arrangement on the beach for a sunset horseback ride. Again, the staff was awesome, and they were so strict (in a good way) about sanitization and mask wearing. I would highly recommend the Solar Signature Suites again

This is hands down, my favorite place to stay in Cabos. It doesn't feel like every other resort. It feels like you're in Cabos... from the landscaping, to the architecture. The staff were all extremely professional, helpful, and really seemed to care about us individually. The rooms and entire resort are extremely clean. I am looking forward to my next stay.

The hotel and rooms very nice. The service excellent all the staff very profesional and attentive. Unfortunately the food was very mediocre. They were also a lot of kids. I suggest they make a separate area for families and another for adults.

It's a beautiful resort. We stayed in a 2-bedroom / 3-bath ocean front suite. The staff was great and the amenities are 5-star but the restaurants are not that good. That was the only negative and on most nights we went to other resorts for dinner. Better food would make this a 10/10 property. All things considered, I'd rate it 8/10 overall and will probably try a different resort on our next trip.
P.S. Arbol has fantastic food and is just a 5-minute drive from Solaz.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Everything feels 5 star, the gym is awesome (true gym with tons of equipment), there are a number of pools, and everything is new. The service and food was a bit hit or miss, however. On the service, there was one guy at the pools that was very accomodating and amazing. The rest of the staff at the pool was fine, but sometimes seemed bothered to be asked questions and were particularly accomodating. At checkout, there was no flexibility to check out late. We had massages till 12:15 and they said we had to be out at 12. One of our friends wanted to enjoy the pools and then shower off after at the spa, but they said you have to buy a day pass for the spa... no showers you can use at an ocean resort and no late checkout?!
On the food, there's a lot to be desired. There is a whole wellness side they're missing. I was hoping for fresh juices and healthy options at meals, but there were very limited options to stay healthy and they missed the boat entirely in terms of healthy snacks.
Our room was massive: 3 bedroom, 4 bath. Very nice all around and the staff that cleaned the rooms was really nice. Overall, a good location and resort - just some stuff to improve on food and service.

What an incredible resort facility! We’ve stayed in many hotels in Cabo and Solaz is far and away The Best! Beautiful grounds, gorgeous beach, lots and lots of amenities. Really can not say enough!

They rented half of this property out to a large wedding, and on Sunday night they allowed them to have a large party outside from about 10:00 pm to 2:00 am. They did not tell the other guests about this when booking and only told us the night before. Not only was much of the property closed for the private function, but the outdoor party on Sunday night was literally a rave, we had electronic music blasting until 2:00 am and strobe lights coming through our windows, even with the curtains closed. We had an ocean front imperial suite and it was expensive. This should not have happened at a resort of this quality and expense. This is something I would expect in Cancun on spring break. We called management numerous times and they made it seem as though we were out of line for being upset, they said a general manager would call us before check out the next morning, but no one did, and no one even asked us about our stay at check out. Pretty shocking for such an otherwise great resort.
