About this house rental
Awesome home in Podstrana
A large spacious cottage built in a typical style of the region.
This homely stone house with special charm and character has a large shaded terrace in connection with a fenced garden area and a balcony on the second floor. Outside you can enjoy the view of the sea, the surrounding islands and several coastal towns while you enjoy your delicacies from the grill with a glass of wine. Step into a domicile with a striking contrast between modern-bright and quaint-antique interiors. The authentic furniture and familiar and characteristic decoration, which cleverly mixes with wood and stone, creates a true feeling of well-being and an atmosphere of comfort.
Podstrana is a small village, which consists of five villages. Here you can enjoy both: relaxing village idyll and stimulating big city flair. This traditional, southern-style vacation home, is located in a quiet environment in the village of Gornja Podstrana on a 400m high hill. You can reach the sea in a few minutes by car via the winding coastal road. Visit the nearby restaurants where you can taste the traditional specialties. In the surrounding area you will find many cycling and hiking trails and on the coast beautiful beaches and a rich entertainment program. How about a rafting tour on the Cetina river? Whether by canoe or kayak, rafting is a great way to show off your courage and skill. Split, the second largest city in Croatia, only nine kilometers away, is over 1700 years old and is thus rich in cultural treasures. The Palace of Diocletian is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as numerous other buildings remind of the Roman rule in Split.
