Inconsistent- Extremly disappointed ?

The position is well located..

The room is not Lux at all. Very poorly renovated. Wires and pipes hanging out of walls. Photos don't show this. Every thing from the grubby entrance to the cheap uncomfortable bed, smelly old carpet. The last straw -is the out look which is appalling. Disappointing owner attitude

The location is perfect, city center

The sheet and pillows are not clean. And the staff can’t do anything about it. I have to sleep in my sweater

Parking issues

We actually didn’t stay as we’re not impressed with owners responses. I really couldn’t leave a review but booking.com won’t stop asking me for one so there it was.. hopefully they’ll pull it… problem was the fact that it said parking but it was street parking and no way was I going to leave my convertible on the streets as I’ve heard there have been break ins.

Not what we expected based on the pictures and the reviews, we believe we got a different room.

Not what we expected. Certainly not the pictures here as our room was carpeted. It was basic and not luxury and noisy at night in the hall way when people would come up and down the stairs. You could also hear the neighbouring property's with very thin walls.

Very poor

The view was awful. Not like the photos. The bed broke during the night. They came at midnight and replaced it the next morning but we had to sleep the mattress on the floor. We were promised to have a refund but never received it

Great choice for short stay in the heart of old town

- Top location. All walking distance to airport shuttle bus, sea organ, restaurants, museums…Café and best ice cream in town (we met a local and he told us so:)) directly downstairs and a view of the historical sites in front of your window guarantee a bright morning mood. - Nice host and if you happen to look for a haircut in town like I did, guess what, Andrej could put you on the phone directly with his mum. - For the location and facilities the price is fair for me.

- The water boiler was unfortunately covered with thick incrustation on the bottom which for me as someone drinks a lot of water was a bummer. Tried to boil-and-wash three times the water was still not drinkable:/

Simple, but comfortable apartment in Zadar's city centre

Very good location for exploring the Zadar historic centre. The apartment is simply but well furbished ad very comfortable.

The shower is very cramped, and the window in my room led to an inner courtyard which was a ruin/construction site.

superb, Zadar is amazing, lovely people and scenery gorgeous.

We needed to check in early, host was very helpful and permitted this. He also went to a lot of trouble recommending places to eat etc. The location is superb, everything within walking distance.

pillows need replacing, but overall very good.

Location was excellent. In the heart of old town. Close to water and rive, Sea Organ….everything.

We did not like host’s request to pay in cash instead of credit card.

Quasimodo would feel at home

The location could hardly be bettered for access to Zadar sites and is close to the airport bus drop-off point. The room we had was a very good size and had a nice bathroom. Our very late arrival (nearly 1am) was catered for.

We arrived very late on Saturday night hoping for a good night's sleep unfortunately the location is very close to the cathedral and several other churches all of which ring their bells throughout the night (full peals not just sounding the hours). This appears to just happen on Saturday night/Sunday morning as there were much less bell ringing on other nights. There is not much the accommodation can do about this. The thermostat on the air-con did not appear to work very well.
