Located in a quiet cul-de-sac with off road parking, it was peaceful yet close to the town centre. The facilities were excellent and the room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom was very well thought out. The mini fridge, microwave and kettle were all present and there was even a washing machine and dryer if you needed it.
The host was lovely and very accommodating.
Absolutely nothing.

Perfect, comfortable sanctuary after a difficult day. Self contained, meticulously clean unit with everything you might need. Excellent bathroom. Online communication with owner was most efficient.
Nothing at all.

Great location near to the town. Really clean and easy access, the host put in a lot of effort. The room was quiet and had all the facilities you would need.
Nothing really, if you’re nitpicking you could say the tv was on the small side but other than that no complaints!

Excellent, well thought out and planned. Immaculate. Lovely aesthetics and the host was super nice.

The whole room (bedsheet, toilet, floor, amenities, etc.) was very clean.
The bed & pillows were comfortable.
The location was easy to find and close to town.
The room was a bit dark, could use with brighter lights.

Clean, tidy, well equipped, quiet, comfortable
For me (and this will be different for everyone) I found the duvet a little heavy and over warm. It’s not what I’m used to, but I recognise we are all different, so that is a personal observation

This is a wonderful properly. It's compact, but not squashed, and fantastic value. Lydgia is a born host. The accommodation has been extremely well thought out. All things considered, the bathroom is pretty spacious, especially a nice big, modern shower. All the fittings have a touch of luxury. And all the decorations are so tasteful. Lydgia supplies lots of little goodies. You have your own off road parking place, and there's a private, tasteful little courtyard with table and chairs, for an evening drink or morning coffee. It is abundantly clear that she wants you to have a v enjoyable stay. There is even a washing machine and tumble dryer. Don't expect views; the large window (with blinds and curtains) overlook the front drive in this well-kept 1960s estate of houses. Yes, it is not in Cambridge centre, but the 20 min drive is v easy, and is fantastic value considering all the above. Also, it gave us the chance to discover the v pretty market town on St Ives. For a one night stop over it is fantastic. But you could use it as a base to explore Cambridge and the area for a few days.
The lock box was a bit fiddly. Unfortunately these are pretty standard ( = Masterlock), so this is nit-picking a bit. Also not so easy to open it in the dark without a light. I used the torch on my phone, which was OK.
We would have preferred a bigger TV.
Everything else, frankly, was faultless.

Very lovely. Will definitely stay again.

The location was perfect for us - a short walk into the town centre for the function we were attending. The accommodation itself was outstanding. Clearly the host has thought about everything that their guests might need and managed to achieve it all in a small space. It is beautifully decorated and well equipped, clean, comfortable and quiet. The host responds quickly to messages and is very helpful.

What an absolute gem! “Compact and bijou”, beautifully styled, clever layout, very clean, with everything you need for a short stay including little kitchenette and en-suite shower (with fluffy towels). Thank you Lydgia I have already recommended The Big Slepe to friends
Not that I really needed it myself, but it would be good to add a small fold-down table (eg for eating at or working)
