The cottage is nice and very convenient in the small city of Seaford. There’s a long beach not very crowded and next to magnificent cliffs. Brighton and Eastbourne are close and can be reached frequently by buses. We enjoyed the stay very much and really can recommend it.

It’s a great cottage to stay in with excellent location. The kitchen is very well equipped, but some of the tea and coffee was mouldy, so we disposed of those. It would be great if the plinths under kitchen sink can be fixed (especially if you bring a pet) together with kitchen sink plugs. There were also loose ‘plinth’ tiles behind bin that can do with fixing. But great stay and we will miss Gannet Cottage. It’s also a very pet-friendly place and our cats really loved it there.

We had a great time in the house, close to the sea. Seaford is a small village but with enought restaurants, shops and pubs.
The house is very cosy, very clean and good equiped with good kitchen and towels etc. We really recommend it for a stay and visit brighton and seven siters, bilring gap etc

We have had a good short break in this property which is well located in Seaford. It’s a short walk to shops, restaurants or the beach.

Gannet cottage was very cosy and met most of our requirements. Location was excellent in village centre and close to sea, station and bus stops. Therefore easy access to Eastbourne, Brighton and local attractions. There was a good amount of local information in the cottage. Plenty of good eating and drinking places very close.
Upstairs the cottage was lovely and bright however the downstairs living area was rather dark especially for reading.
We followed the instruction for putting out rubbish and recycling as we understood but they were not very clear. Instructions for washer dryer would have been helpful.
Overall a great 10 days holiday.

We had a wonderful week in Seaford! Gannet cottage gave us a delightful base for exploring the local coastline. The cottage is very clean and styled superbly with real care and warmth. Very close to the seafront and all the shops in town it really is a perfectly cosy seaside retreat! Would highly recommend

Stayed at this lovely cottage to attend the Brighton Marathon. Ideal location to explore Brighton and the surrounding area. Just a short walk to the beach. Train link into Brighton was quick and easy. Celia was very helpful and responsive to my enquiries. Don't let the no private parking put you off as we found plenty of parking every day very close by. Would highly recommend and stay again!

I really enjoyed staying at this beautiful cottage near the sea. It was immaculately clean, quiet and comfortable. The location cannot be beaten: the seaside is a stone’s throw away, as well as incredible walks along the South Downs. The train station is an easy 5 minute walk away, and connects to all major UK points, including London. Shops, restaurants and pubs are all within easy walking distance, and the locals are very friendly. I look forward to returning with my kids in the future. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

The house is lovely, cosy and clean and well-presented, and full of many glass and ceramic objets. The hosts were really responsive throughout our brief stay, which we arranged at very short notice.
