About this cottage rental

Cuttlesham Cottage is a lovely newly renovated cottage sitting in 33 acres of beautiful Somerset Countryside.

It is located on the edge of a traditional Somerset village with its own pub and picturesque church. The renowned gardens of The Newt are just a mile and a half away and the fashionable town of Bruton and market town of Castle Cary are both within three miles.

There are many excellent walks, fabulous pubs/restaurants and lovely villages to explore close by.

For those wishing to venture a little further, the cathedral cities of Bath and Wells are less than an hour away, as is Stonehenge.

The space

The cottage is self-contained with its own private garden backing onto open fields. A footpath leads up the fields from where the far-reaching views are stunning.

Inside the cottage, a small entrance lobby leads to the sitting room with two double sofas, a woodfire burner. There is fibre optic wifi in the cottage and a smart TV. The room is very bright with double aspect windows and views out to the garden and fields beyond.

The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with a four -ring hob, double oven, microwave, fridge freeze, kettle, toaster and washing machine. The kitchen lies off the sitting room which has an eating area with table and chairs for 4.

In terms of sleeping, there are two comfortable bedrooms one with a king size bed and one with a double. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite shower rooms.

Outside, the private garden has a table and chairs, a bench and recliner. It is the perfect place to dine al fresco or just relax with a book or enjoy a sundowner.

Guests are welcome to use our private gym with prior permission and personal training can be arranged. Horse livery can also be arranged.

The space is perfect for couples, small families and friends. Parking is available and bikes can be securely stowed.

Loved this property. Watched wildlife in the surrounding fields. Visted Wells and Glastonbury both approx 30 mins away. I only have one whinge and that's there's no dressing table, women need to sit with a mirror and socket for blow drying otherwise absolutely perfect. Would definitely recommend a visit.
