Everything we had hoped for in a Luberon apartment stay in one of the prettiest villages you will find. Excellent owners who were very responsive to any and all questions and requests.

The apartment is breathtaking: a medieval cellar with vaulted ceilings and a private balcony on a cliff overlooking lavender fields. We found Ménerbes to be perfect for exploring the region: not as touristy as other options, night streets feel almost private. Yes, the ancient stone gives off a little dust. Yes, it feels like living in a magazine photoshoot. Many restaurants to walk to in the village (consider reservations or going right when they open); many grocery stores within a short drive where we were able to buy dishsoap and a roll of toilet paper. The flat does get quite warm in the summer sun and the windows and door to the balcony do not latch, though the cliff makes it perfectly secure. Parking was always available nearby. My parents and I had the most lovely time and would stay here again.

Apartment a bit quirky but actually quite nice! PERFECT location in a beautiful quiet little town. (Expected 2 bathrooms and found only 1 1/2. Also disappointed we only had one roll of toilet paper.)

Lovely apartment in the centre of Menerbes. Airconditioner in the dining area struggled to cool lounge room when sun was beating down. Used the fan provided to cool the lounge. Unfortunately only one roll of toilet paper was provided for a couple for 5 days stay which meant we needed to purchase a six pack of toilet paper for one extra roll. Garbage bags to suit the size of the kitchen bin were not provided. Clumps( not just dust) of the limestone ceiling were continuously falling onto the bed. Towels were threadbare with one of them having a hole in it. A few housekeeping issues which need to be addressed.
Apart from these minor issues, it was a comfortable stay.

This was the second time we have been in this apartement, the stay is always wonderful there. We love Ménerbes.

It was great except for the age of the linens. They definitely need replacement. We liked the swallows in the morning and nightime. There was a shop close by. Lots of decent restaurants in the area especially Chez Auzet which was an excellent place for breakfast.

A real unique place surrounded by stone who knows how old. Location cannot be beat and the view off the deck was amazing. Loved the quiet location and had fun exploring the region around it. Went for runs kn the am down rarely used cou try roads adjacent to vineyards and surrounded by nature. Nice local bar, Le Progres, just down the street and a real great place for lunch on Sundays at Maison de la truffe et du vin du Lubéron where they cook via their outdoor grill.
Place was very comfortable. We did have an issue with the wifi so was without it for a few days (was a provider issue) but not the end of the world.
The stone did keep the place cool but would recommend using the wooden partitions provided for shade as the sun comes thru in the afternoon but the deck is nice to watch the sunset. Theres a book in the apartment that is very detailed for everything in the apartment and also recommendations in the area. Good stay all around

Village of Menerbes is wonderful, just the place if you looking for some downtime or want to explore the Vancluse area. Home has a fantastic patio to enjoy the sunsets over the Luberon.

Outstanding location and view. No additional toilet papers, no soap. The towels were of VERY poor quality

We stayed in the apartment "Les Hirondelles" in Menerbe from 27 Aug to 10 Sept 2022. What an experience!! The apartment is spacious, comfortable and so typically Provencal. The living room is comfortable and cosy, the bedrooms stylish and the kitchen is almost professional.
The beautiful sunsets, the beautiful view of the Luberon and the location in Menerbe is unique. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.
We will definitely come back next year.

Menerbes is a quiet and charming village. Our rental was spacious and private with lovely views. Jackie promptly responded to our needs. Bring your own essentials, especially when arriving on the weekend. The surrounding Provençal villages were delightful as well.

Arrival - no welcome pack so only a bottle of Rosé in fridge. Some bread & milk/basics plus tea/coffee caps for machine would’ve been nice. Great location but stone walls/ceilings need treating as they drop limestone dust/flakes continuously. Outer front door was locked from inside on two evenings meaning we were unable to re-renter until neighbours roused after our nights out. We were clearly briefed not to lock the outer door in this way so possibly error by locateurs of adjacent apartments within?

A beautiful apartment in a quiet and exquisite town. Close to everything the Luberon offers. We hope to return (in Spring or Fall)!

Brilliant location for exploring this area of Provence.
A very quiet and peaceful village setting with a lovely private patio to sit and enjoy sunsets and the tranquility.
Excellent local amenities added to our enjoyment.
Spacious apartment in one of main streets with easy parking nearby.

You are in the heart of town. Great deli, grocery store next door, a few restaurants in town. Pictures describe the place pretty well. I would be concerned of AC in heat of summer

The property is exactly as shown in pictures - in fact it’s so much better in person! Lovely village in a beautiful region. We stayed 5 days and so didn’t want to leave. Thank you Jackie and Krissy!

We have seen this property advertised for years in International Living and always wanted to stay there. Be prepared to be awed by the barrel/cave ceilings in every room and the glass dining room. Lovely patio for hanging out. Well-equipped kitchen. Great location. Easy parking, off season. Spacious interior with two bedrooms. One toilet/shower room and one bathtub and sink room. The only caveat is that this property could pose a problem for those with mobility issues. There are stairs down to the apartment (with a handrail) and several stairs up and down to various areas inside the apartment. We managed them but there are no rails to hold onto inside. If you need food or supplies, be sure to arrive before the grocery stores in the area, or cute little épicerie a few meters up the hill, close. There are nice restaurants steps from your door. Highly recommend Le 5 but make reservations and check days of the week the restaurants are open. We arrived on a Tuesday in October, only one restaurant in the village was open for dinner, and it was fully booked. Thankfully, we anticipated that and had food to prepare. Also, if you have allergies to feathers, the pillows are synthetic but the duvets are down. There was an extra wool blanket and some cozy throw blankets. The apartment was plenty warm, so I almost didn’t need any blanket at all. We never turned on the heat, even though it got down to the low 40’s at night. Menerbes is a beautiful little village and fun any time of the year but especially nice in off season. This is a very unique property and we really enjoyed our stay there.

We LOVED this apartment so, so much. It’s just perfect. Exactly as pictured and described, but even better. It’s beautifully appointed, so unique, so comfortable and so bright and sunny. Right in the heart of this beautiful village with a sweet little grocery / wine store and delicious pizza shop right outside the front door. It’s the perfect home base for exploring the spectacular Luberon. We stayed in a number of villages and Menerbes is our favorite. And the property manager Krissy was great. We will come back many times, we hope!
