This was absolutely the best place we have ever stayed in through Hotels.com. Incredible huge rooms, beautiful property, a castle on-site, wo derful staff. We have nothing bad to say about this place!!

Great stay. The staff was always super friendly and helpful. The room surpassed expectations. Newly renovated and get bathroom especially. The bed and bedding were quality and really great.

Beautiful property; everywhere you go is clean! Had fun waking the grounds around the chapel and castle. Breakfast was yummy too! Only challenge was finding the property!

We returned to the hotel after meeting friends to find that the reception was closed (although it should have been open until 23.30) and there was no bar facilities.

Lovely stay, beautiful new accommodation, really comfy rooms. Accommodation is seperaten from reception & bar etc but a short easy walk. Lodges are lovely and the communal space was nice and relaxing. Very golf focused but we still felt welcome even though we were there for the golf! Would recommend for a couples stay as very relaxing and quiet. We had our young daughter with us and while she was made as welcome as anyone else it probably isn’t the best fit for young families.

Beautiful place, kind staff. Absolutely perfect.

It’s on a golf course so we checked in at the club house. Dining was also there. Slow service. I ordered steak and it was not good. Cheap cut for sure. Our room was about a 7 minute walk from the club house. Not ideal for handicapped ppl but very lovely gardens. Hiking trails. Each bldg had its own parking area and its own entrance to a shared living room area with fridge, fireplace, etc we had a room on the 2nd floor. I think 5 rooms in each bldg. Modern. Spacious. Definitely good for golfers. You pass the castle driving in but you are not near it nor did it look open to the public.

We arrived after dark and we found it really difficult to find reception and the restaurant. The site was incredibly dark and the signage unlit. Once we found the reception they were really helpful and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed
The restaurant food was ok and the staff were friendly and helpful
The golf looked as if it was fab but we stayed as we were visiting New Grange which wasn’t very far away
It is a great place to stay if you are visiting the area

The room was spacious and absolutely gorgeous. The property itself was pretty, but getting there wasn’t the easiest. I would recommend planning your route ahead of time. I typed Killeen Castle in the GPS and it took me close but not to the check in area - so then we tried to follow the signs and ended up in a back entrance and was able to make it to the where we needed to, it just wasn’t clear and we were kind of guessing.
I was very disappointed in the “garden view”, I booked a room with a balcony and just be aware that the pictures shown are very accurate … while the description is not. The balcony looks out to a stone wall that surrounds the gardens, the entrance in the picture - is the only small section of garden you will see from your room.

Stayed in Rose Cottage onsite. Just lovely. Clean, quiet and comfy.

This is a great place to stay, in beautiful quiet surroundings. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a separate area for making tea, fridge, microwave and coffee machine which is shared by 4 rooms.
The cooked breakfast was excellent. There was also fresh made pastries and scones.

Staff and their excellent customer service skills. Breakfast with a variety of delicious food. Overall we enjoyed everything about our stay and definitely we will recommend it to our social media family and friends ❤️

While the hotel is called Killeen Castle, the rooms are not actually in the castle, which is closed for renovations. The castle sits on a golf course designed by Jack Nicholas and is conveniently located a half hour from the Dublin airport. Good dinner menu and excellent breakfast. The night manager was very knowledgeable and friendly. Cozy room with a confortable bed. Dramatic entry up the grounds of the hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at Killeen Castle! The beds are firm but comfortable, the pillows are good quality, and the bath towels are large. We went to the Kiln every morning for a delicious traditional breakfast, had dinner at the Kiln one night which was also delicious, and ended our days with an adult beverage at the Kiln. Murat and his staff are amazing and very welcoming. The men enjoyed going to the driving range and the staff were able to find a youth size club for my 7 year old to use.

Our family stay in one of the lodges was absolutely fabulous and I would definitely return again here without a doubt. Rooms are fresh, clean and comfortable with stunning gardens around and our breakfast each morning was beautiful. Until the next time

Booked a last minute break in one of superior rooms in the lodge. Lovely large room with balcony, comfy bedding and super large shower. The gardens and opens space and walks were fantastic. Great food service for dinner and breakfast and having the golf driving range and practice facilities beside us was bonus. Overall fantastic and we will be back.

This place is breathtakingly beautiful, a fairytale location with a wonderful welcome - it's the best hotel we've stayed by far and we will definitely be returning.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant has good food. My only complaint is the very large windows with no covering. Sunset is late and sunrise is early in Irish summers.

Just had a lovely break at Killeen Castle, we were staying in ohe of the new lodges. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size with a large shower and a bath. The outside area was well maintained with parking outside. The lodges are situated just across from a lovely walled garden which leads on th the Clubhouse where you go for breakfast and dinner. The Estate is perfect location for a peaceful and relaxing break.

Basically a golf resort with a castle on the property. Rooms were fantastic. This was the best accommodations we had of 3 nights in Ireland and honestly if we go back we will stay here again. Parking was easy, Dublin was an easy drive but overall we loved how quiet, expansive and beautiful the property was.

The property was absolutely gorgeous! The person checking us in was not so lovely. He was not at all friendly like everyone else that we met in Ireland! Would I recommend to others? No, I would not!! In our travels of Ireland we found that there are too many other places to stay where they were genuine and made you feel special.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Girl checking us in was very friendly. Bar staff were all great. Stay over was just fabulous.

Beautiful property!! Disappointed that the castle was not open, but the church was so inspiring! Limited menu but tasty. Wait staff was new but still amazing! Would have loved a gift shop or spa for those who are not into golf.
