Geweldige plek op een geweldige locatie

Geweldige locatie met een leuke host. S’avonds kan je ook geweldige wafels halen bij de eigenaar. Zeker een aanrader!!

Nice accommodation on beach ruined by the owner. Expensive especially considering there is no Wifi.

Nice room on the beach. However the guy on reception (the owner I think) is possibly the most obnoxious and unpleasant person we have come across on our extensive travels. He should not be working in the hospitality industry. And from reading previous reviews, he is just waiting for someone to push the bathroom door of its rail, which is quite possible because it doesn't open without some force, as an excuse not to pay back the deposit. For the price of RM 280 per night, not to have Wifi is also not acceptable. The guy clearly doesn't care though because all accommodation is overpriced on the beach, so people will keep on coming. Obviously, we won't return.

Great location in Long Beach, good views, very convenient.

It was great located and the staff was really nice. A bit expensive if you go by yourself but good price if you go with friends.

Decent place, good value for money hotel on the Perhentian Islands.

Great budget hotel for the Perhentian Isalnds. I don’t think you’d get a much better room, even if you were paying more. The bed was comfy and the rooms were clean. The beach was right on our door step. It is right beside a bar that plays music till the early hours of the morning, but it was fine for us - just bring ear plugs. Location was ideal and the noise is just what you have to except if you’re staying this side of the island. They allowed us to leave our bags after checkout as our boat wasn’t till 4pm and could still use the showers etc. this was a bonus.

No Wi-Fi Music playing till the early hours of the morning (wouldn’t recommend staying on long beach if you don’t want to be disturbed by noise). The woman who owns the hotel was really welcoming, the guy not so much. One night I let two of my friends use my bathroom as there weren’t any others available at the bar we were at and the guy had a go at me and told me I wasn’t allowed to bring my friends to use the toilet as they hadn’t paid for the room. I personally didnt think it was an issue as we were paying for the room and I took my friends to the room to use the loo. Apart from this, we had no further run ins.

Very good

The location is on the top part of long beach just in front of the water. Next to cafés, stores, a bar (loud at night), water taxis and diving/snorkel centers. The 3 upstairs room have incredible views of the beach and jungle shore. Staff was nice, amenities were good for the standard of the islands. Considering other places for similar price, OceanBoys Inn is a fair stay.

Be aware of no A/C. The fan os loud. Much more loud is the night event every evening from 9 to 2pm aprox, The location is next to the event with loud speakers and party from 11 pm to after 1 am. Not a great location for light sleepers of families with little ones.

Perfect stay at perhentian islands

The hotel is literally on the beach and, from my experience, long beach is the best place to stay if you go to perhentian islands. The rooms are very nice and clean and the owners are so welcoming and kind. I recommend it 100%

The rooms don’t have air conditioning, they only have fans. I didn’t really mind it because I don’t like the AC that much and when I was there the weather was not too hot for Malaysian standards, but if you suffer the heat you should probably keep it in mind.
