They were very clean rooms and they were great to deal with.
I have stayed there over the years and will continue. Some of the rooms do need new rugs and updating.

It is a motel...so if you're looking for luxury, go elsewhere. The office is not staffed 24/7, so if you're arriving late, call ahead and they'll leave your room key out for you. The bathroom door was off its hinge a little bit and would not close all the way. Other than that though, the room was quite clean and spacious. For the price, I'd stay here again.

Well maintained motel, clean! Excellent value for the price, 10mins from Storyland, 20mins from North Conway!

The Villager Motel was a very good value and in a great location for hiking. We just needed a place to stay in the area and it worked out great. Our hiking choices for the two days were just down the road so it was very convenient.

Good, accesible, quiet and clean place for an overnight stay during a leaf-pepping family roadtrip. Room was very clean with enough space for three adults. Pricey in my opinion, I guess it was because of the season. We went the first week of October.

Towels were dirty or stained. Not all outlets worked. No ice available. Hadn't been dusted in a while. Room was not attended to during our stay.

This place has not been cleaned in years, both inside and outside. very poor workmanship on installations. i have stayed in many places over the years, this is a unit from an underdeveloped country. The USA has nice places and this is not one of then.

The owners were extremely nice, we optd out of daily cleaning. No need to waste money or time. I had a recent injury and it was very peaceful at all times to rest. If you like a family run business this is a great place to stay they are all hands on. We will definately stay again and refer friends.

Good place to stay for a cheap price. Close to North Conway for shopping in the Outlet Village and going out for dinner. It’s really nice there if you like nature.

Many hikes and trails surrounding this whole area and I thought the Villager Motel was in a good location to view it all. Couple play things outside for kids and a nice pool. Bathrooms were nice and updated!

Updated rooms, clean and safe. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Does not look appealing from the outside but it was newly renovated inside which was very nice. Would have been nice to have a fence around the outside play structure for the littles. There also were no extra pillows available. We did stay in one of the detached cabins which was excellent for our active toddler and a one night stay!!

We booked a cabin for 5 nights, because we wanted to hike in the area and this place is located near nice trailheads.
The cabin was clean on the arrival, but it was not fully equipped ; toaster and kettle were missing, but we made it worked.
Also, for a 5 nights stays, I would expect to get the towell refreshed at leat once of twice….we had to ask the cleaning lady for new towels wile she was cleaning other rooms.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but missing some fine tuning details.

I loved the price! Great location, we’ve been coming to the area for years. Pool was excellent. Bed, bedding, towels, TV, all wonderful. The only things that weren’t was coffee, no pressure in the shower, not a fan of carpeting. Definitely we will be back.

We stayed at the Villager Motel for 2 nights after going to Storyland (about 10 minutes away)
The room was very clean, beds were comfy, plenty of towels. The room looked recently renovated. Staff was very nice. We enjoyed the pool, which was also very clean, as well as the grill and firepit area. There are several spots up the road where you can get firewood. There are several restaurants and activities in the area. The area felt very safe and calm. On the downside (but still no big deals), the little playground is a little outdated though (especially the pirate ship) but my kids really enjoyed the little train and there is plenty of space for kids to run around. I also kind of assumed there would be a hair dryer in the room but there was none, so I recommend you bring your own. Also, if you plan on doing water activities or using the pool, I recommend you bring a drying rack or something to hang your wet clothes (beginner mistake on my part).
Overall, if you enjoy scenic views, hiking or have little kids and want to enjoy the activities around and are looking for a place to rest without breaking the bank on all the bells and whistles I definitely recommend the Villager Motel.
