This was our second time staying at the WSB Villas. As usual, we had a fantastic time. Villa S is very lovely and modern. The owners were great to deal with. We’re already looking forward to our next stay there.

Lovely Property on the beach. We were scuba diving most mornings but were able to enjoy the beach some afternoons. We chose not to rent a car and that was a good decision for the 2 of us as the roads and cars are opposite from the USA standard. We found plenty of restaurants within a 5-15 minute walk. We did need taxis for some destinations like the major grocery market, the Friday fish fry and beaches where you can walk a distance. We actually got a bit familiar with a bus option later in the week when appropriate.
The villa is well equipped with most modern conveniences and good internet. The owners and management company were great to work with were very helpful. I would recommend this property.

Perfect location - walking distance to the gaps many restaurants and right on the beach. Close to bus route and for those who prefer taxis. Minutes from the airport where you can catch a cab relatively inexpensively.

We loved this apartment. It was perfect for the two of us, the outdoor eating space was great, we sat on the balcony a lot of evenings with drink in hand watching the sunset. The kitchen was very well equipped (and I love to cook) there was nothing I needed. Two bathrooms is a great asset, the completely tiled shower room with large shower enclosure, we used the most. Lots of space for clothes in the walk thru dressing room, a grand very large bed, with doors opening from the bedroom on to the balcony, it was beautiful to open them in the morning and listen to the waves. We loved the apartment. I read some reviews saying that it needed updating, I have to say those people have not stayed in other places on the island or the Caribbean, we have stayed at the Crane and found this of an equal level of quality. The building is in a great location, the local beach which the building is set on was fabulous and we spent most mornings there, on sunbeds that you can take on to the beach from the apartments. The waves were strong most of the time, which was great for surfers and body boarders, we swam (but best if you are a strong swimmer). There is a better swimming beach next door at dover and when the tide is out you can walk round to it, if not you can take a 5 minute stroll down the street to it. We had a fabulous holiday celebrating our 20th anniversary, made all the better by this apartment and it’s location! (Big thanks to Franklyn who's there if you need him!) We'll be back!

We stayed in villa S for a week with our 10 year old son before moving to the west for the second week. The location is great for amenities, including a pile of restaurants and grocery stores. The condo was modern with an awesome balcony with ocean views, but plan on bringing everything since the place only had salt and pepper, the coffee maker was also broken. The covered pool wasn’t the best but we still had fun in it. The beach out front was good not too busy, big waves made it great for surfing not for swimming and full of turtles everyday. We walked over to Dover beach daily which was awesome for swimming and 2 mins away. The pull out couch needs to be replaced, we had to add couch cushions so our son could sleep on it, really bad… Juliet and all the staff were awesome, I’d stay here again but the owner needs to replace a few things to be a 5 star.

Pros:
- Terrific location with accurate pictures provided. Location is mere steps from beach.
- Clean condo with beach towels/ linens provided
Cons:
- Specifically asked about pullout couch being comfortable. It was not as the mattress was 4 inches thick and very lumpy.

Condo was as discribed. Great partial water view. Wonderful large terrace. Great beach. Many restaurants close by. Managing agent very helpful. Bed and sofas not the most comfortable but adequate. Hope to be back in future. I hope whatever they are building next door to villa will be done before too long.

We had a wonderful 8 night stay and were very impressed with the property. It was very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The check in and out processes were handled very efficiently . Location wise it is ideal for St Lawrence Gap and Oistins and very easy to get the local buses into Bridgetown. We would definitely recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.

It was our first time in Barbados. Family of three adults.
We stayed at Whitesands Beach Villas from June 1st to 8.
The Villa is located at Dover, close to St.Lawrence Gap.
Villa S is beautiful, bright and spacious place that can accommodate up to 4 adult people. It is situated right on the beach, has private and secluded area for lounge chairs, as well as close proximity to Dover Beach. Depends on the waves, sometimes it is not possible to use this beach area due to the high tide. To get to Dover beach you could go by the shore (many rocks and waves) or by the street. It is only 5 minutes. Dover Beach is a longer stretch of white sand, calmer water and local food restaurants. To rent two beach chairs and umbrella will cost you $20 BBD or $10 US.
At the Villa, there are plenty of chairs and towels for your use at anytime. The Villa is very well maintained, clean and has a secured entrance.
Apartment: 3rd floor, very spacious with good size bedroom, recroom and full kitchen. There is a pullout couch that can accommodate two people. The kitchen has all cooking supplies, as well as wine glasses and a mixer. The balcony has a partial view of the ocean, but mesmerizing sunset scenery. Two concerns regarding the apartment: the mattresses were uncomfortable to sleep and the shower facets in both bathrooms need to be cleaned due to the build up of calcium.
St. Lawrence Gap has variety of bars and restaurants for everyone’s taste and budget. We tried local Promto, Amigos and Infinity. They provided local atmosphere, Bajan food and life music. It is tasty and budget friendly. Sole Cafe is one of tourists’ favorites because of it is shore location, great cocktails and Mexican cuisine.
Attractions: we hired a cab for the day to see the island from coast to cast. It was absolutely incredible experience. We were able to see different towns, learn about rum history, traveled through Harrison's cave, observe Highland point, and ate at the local restaurant in Moon town. We would recommend our driver and expert tour guide Peter. His phone number is (248)-86-19.
Another must do tour is a Tiami Catamaran Cruise. Hands down, worth every penny. It is all day of sailing, snorkeling, lunch, desert, snacks and of course bottomless drinks.
Please don’t miss Friday Night Oistins Fish Market. It is an experience of live music, dancing and delicious grilled fish. You will mingle with Bajans, have laughter, conversation and street entertainment.

This condo surpassed all of our expectations. It was beautifully decorated and had a very modern kitchen with everything you could want. There is a washing machine in the unit that came in very handy since we came from spending 10 days attending a family wedding and visiting all our relatives who moved away from the cold northeast where we still live. The view from the balcony and the bedroom is delightful! We ate our breakfasts and lunches on the balcony enjoying the view. There is a beautiful table for 6 and a couch out there. The two bathrooms came in very handy. We could each have our own bathroom and be ready at the same time, instead of taking turns. The bed is comfortable and the closet has more than enough draws and hangers to meet your needs. The air conditioning cools the rooms very quickly since we shut it off every time we left the unit. The beach is lovely with plenty of palm trees for shade. The street where it is located, St. Lawrence Gap, is filled with every kind of restaurant you could imagine. We loved the Indian restaurant, the Mexican restaurant, Harlequin, Memosa, Cocktail Kitchen, Happy Days just to name a few. They were all in walking distance. That is important since the taxis are very expensive. We went to a few restaurants on other parts of the island and learned not to do that again. We enjoyed The Coast to Coast Tour of the Island and a day of polo matches at Aches Hills. We went to the Sunday Buffet and Steel Band at Southern Palms which was worth every penny. If it rains, no worry! It lasts for about a minute then the sun returns. We woke one morning to the most beautiful rainbow that started on the water and spanned the whole sky! Everybody is so nice, especially Jeanette Jeffrey who was always available to help whenever we needed her. Thanks for making our vacation so special!

This was our first trip to Barbados. Owners Richard and Lisa were great to deal with during the booking process. They were prompt with their replies and answered all of our questions. The apartment was clean, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. With a very well equipped kitchen, we looked forward to cooking some of our meals. What we found was that the Massy chain of grocery stores fell short in the fresh food department and was very expensive. That being said, the apartment is well situated and within walking distance (15 minutes) of an array of low to high end restaurants, guaranteed to please all palates and budgets. Dover Beach and The St. Lawrence Gap is a great place to be. It is clean, bustling with friendly locals and tourists and we always felt safe. The building is well maintained with very friendly staff. The beach is right in front of the building and felt like a private oasis with minimal traffic from non-residents. The building is very secure and also employs a night security person. Juliet and Franklyn, the property managers, were wonderful to deal with during our stay. The only upgrade for the unit would be a safe in the apartment for passports, currency and electronic devices. Our experience will definitely lead us back to the same great accommodations and wonderful people next year.
Happy New Year to all !!!

The property is very clean, modern, and great location. Easy walk to restaurant, beach, bus stop.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back. The site managers where fabulous to work with and went out of their way to accommodate all our needs. In fact they were so kind to help me when I broke my ankle and needed medical attention. Juliet was so wonderful she recommended a medical facility and met us there to ensure I was taken care of properly. They made us feel at home and wanted our stay to be as pleasant as possible. My only recommendation is to have room darkening drapes in the bedroom. Sun can up pretty early (5:30 am). Other than that it was fabulous.

Lovely condo and a great location
We love staying at this beautiful condo. Richard and Lisa are very attentive to keeping the condo in good condition. The location is second to none. It is close to everything including shopping and restaurants. There is a bar next door if you feel like a pina colada or banana daiquiri. The beach is very nice and the lounge chairs provided are very comfortable and in good condition.

A fabulous apartment in a stunning location
This was the second time we have stayed at Villa S. It is well appointed and comfortable. Beach towels are provided and Juliette and Franklyn are very helpful. We found the pillows on the bed were too firm but that is a personal preference.
The apartment is in a modern block right on the beach and is beautifully maintained by the staff.
There are loads of restaurants in the area from street food through to high end restaurants. We have tried them all and enjoyed ourselves. Georges at Oistins on a Sunday night was superb. It was quiet and the food excellent.
We hired a car online in the UK from Express Rent a Car and picked it up from the local office up the road from the apartment. A basic car but with Aircon. Good value with no hidden extras.
Barbados is a fabulous island and well worth exploring.
We loved it and will be back.
4.8
Beautiful apartment
Amazing apartment with everything you could possibly need. We hired a car so got to see whole island but so nice to come back and chill on the balcony after a busy day. It is quiet and no noise from bars etc but still close to restaurants and supermarkets and bars. Highly recommended

First class property in a prime location
This is our 3rd stay in Villa S at White Sands Beach Villas. White Sands is a wonderful apartment block in a prime location right on the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and bars in St Lawrence Gap, but in a quiet area so you are not disturbed by bars and clubs at night. Villa S is situated on the west side of the building so has a lovely view of the sea and the wonderful sun sets. The apartment is excellent and is fully equipped and has everything you need to make your holiday fully flexible, so easy to eat in or out. If you have any problems at all then Juliette and Franklyn are on hand to sort things out (not that we have needed them!). The staff at White Sands are so friendly and helpful and the whole building and grounds are highly maintained. We love staying here and have already booked our trip for 2018. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Superb condo ... great location on the beach ...
The entire experience of staying here was superb. The condo was exactly as it had been presented in the photographs and description, always a great start. Beautifully clean, in fact the whole building was sparkling and always smelt of lovely cleaning products. We really couldn't fault a thing from our arrival to our departure. Everyone we came into contact with were friendly and helpful, a really lovely experience.
We are booking for next year without hesitation as the condo is situated on the beach and steps away from all the amenities of The Gap ... Even beach towels were provided plus beautifully soft white towels in the bathrooms. In fact the whole condo was pristine with every kitchen implement one could wish for made available plus washing up liquid, soaps in the bathrooms and loo rolls which was a lovely surprise.
Many thanks for a superb holiday ... can't wait to revisit.

A Sweet Spot
We had a fabulous time at this beachfront condo. It had everything we needed and more...we were met by the property manager who provided us with a comprehensive tour of the facility and unit. He was very professional and courteous. The condo was stocked with the essentials. It was very clean and well maintained. The bedroom leads to the terrace which is a great way to welcome the ocean breeze into the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. We cooked many of our meals and loved having our meals on the terrace with the ocean in the background. It was a nice romantic setting.
We would highly recommend this property. The beach is nice. The unit had beach towels and lounge chairs to use. There is also a small pool at the complex - very clean. Everything is in walking distance or a short bus ride to local attractions such as the local fish fry at Oistens. We had a car so we could get around the island. The complex has parking and security is on duty in the evenings. It truly was a sweet spot. We look forward to staying at this condo again. Thank you.

Superb beachfront apartment
We recently booked this apartment and it was our first visit to Barbados. Previously we had always gone for a top brand all inclusive Hotel but wanted to experience more of the Island than you would normally see on an all inclusive holiday.
From the start we were impressed with the help we got from the owners and the management team, offers of getting a shop in and all transfers were arranged with ease.
We have booked private accommodation before but only in Europe and some were good, some not so. On arrival we were really pleased with the quality and size of the accommodation and how great the facilities were, dishwasher good cooker etc. We couldn't believe our luck when we discovered it was on such a lovely beach.
As with the previous reviewer it seemed very homely and we felt totally relaxed staying there, something I haven't really experienced elsewhere it really felt like a home from home.
We had a fantastic holiday, made extra special but such a lovely apartment, all the other tenants were very friendly and it had a small community feel to the place.
I highly recommend this apartment for anyone wishing a relaxing quality holiday on a beautiful island.
My only disappointment was. I wish I'd booked 3 weeks instead of two!
Needless to say we will be returning very shortly and re booking this great apartment, and judging by the number of guests who re book I'm not alone.
A huge thanks to Richard and Lisa for making our holiday really memorable

Great Apartment in Paradise!
We have stayed in this apartment 4 times now in the past 6 years and feel like it is our home from home.
The service is excellent both from Richard and Lisa the owners and from Franklin and Juliet the managing agents in Barbados. The agents can arrange anything you need from a hire car or taxi from the airport to a grocery pack waiting in the apartment for your arrival.
The apartment is very well decorated and has all the mod cons you could need. It is situated in a small bay directly on the beach and comes supplied with sun loungers and chairs for you to use.
It is approx. a 10-15 minute leisurely walk from the heart of St Lawrence Gap where most of the nightlife and restaurants can be found. There is also a small supermarket at the end of the road which caters for 99% of your food and drink needs. There are also a couple of bars within 100m of the apartment if you don't feel up to a walk (Life is tough in paradise!!).
We are already booked up for this year again and I can assure any reader that you will not be disappointed with any aspect of this apartment or the service provided.
