The house was exactly as described and pictured! Lot of room for hanging out in side and out. The driveway was large enough for 6 cars without it being a hassle. The house had everything we needed and comfortable fit our whole family. A great place for a get away!

We stayed in this house for an Amherst College graduation. The house was very clean and comfortable. It is an older house that has a lot of charm. We enjoyed the back porch area with a screened in gazebo. It is an easy 10 minute drive to campus. For those looking to have extended family or a larger gathering, this is a good spot to consider.

A warm and welcoming home where my family of seven could relax and settle in. The outdoor grounds, patio and screened in porch were an extra bonus. You will love it here!

Great place for our family to stay for a nephew's wedding. Comfortable beds. Good kitchen space. Wish we would've been able to use the porch!

This beautiful home could not have been more perfect for our family and loved ones to celebrate Thanksgiving and a long-awaited family reunion. Plenty of open space to gather, play games, reminisce and chat -- and watch a little football. Clean. Comfortable beds. Everything we could need. The deck and back yard are lovely (we wish it had been summer so we could have spent more time outside!). Close to some of our favorite towns and restaurants, and a nice walking trail out front connecting to other area trails was also wonderful.

What a perfect home to spend time with our Freshman at UMass - from location, to having enough bedrooms and a perfect kitchen and dining room to spend quality dinners together

We rented this home for my daughter's graduation from Amherst College. It was perfect for our extended family and the wonderful deck and yard was used for a fun cook-out. My 89 year old mother had her tea each morning in the inviting screened in porch and we all loved gathering and cooking in the good sized kitchen.
After looking at crazy hotel prices, the home was actually more affordable for our 3 night stay.
Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms; my husband and I particularly liked the dormer bedroom and bath.
I have already recommended this house for future Amherst graduating families.

We booked this for my son's wedding weekend in Amherst and stayed with 7 adults and a 9 month old. Plenty of room for each family unit with a beautifully appointed private hideaway suite for mom and dad upstairs. We hosted a family brunch for wedding guests and there were plenty of pots and pans, serving dishes, condiments, and dinnerware for all. Great outdoor space including a huge yard, wraparound porch and screened gazebo. Owner was extremely pleasant and responsive. We'd love to come back and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings at our leisure. This wonderful home lacks nothing! Thank you!

About 5 minutes from downtown. Plenty of rooms. Easily can sleep 8 and more couches and places for people to crash if necessary. Great yard off to the secluded side of the house. A back deck with a screened in porch. Plenty of room for a cookout or yard games. Great place to stay. One issue was there was not a gas grill, just charcoal, but that's not a big deal. Owner was incredibly accommodating, very very easy to deal with.Highly recommend.

We stayed in this lovely home for three weeks in the fall of 2013 and had a wonderful time. The owner was delightful to work with and the house itself was exactly what we were looking for. The house and the area were described perfectly on the VRBO Website. There were no surprises. If we decide to go back to the Amherst area in the future, we will definitely try to rent this house again. I recommend this property without slightest reservation. You cannot go wrong if you decide to rent it.

We stayed here with my extended family and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is wonderfully charming and has such great character. The location is fantastic as you can get to town very quickly and there are lot of great walking trails close by.
I would recommend this place without reservation and will certainly hope to stay there again.

We rented this beautiful house over a long weekend in June, and were delighted with our choice.
The photos don't convey how lovely and spacious the house is, and how charming in a wonderful, rambling way. We loved the decor, the art, the books; we loved the light-filled rooms, and we really appreciated the screened gazebo.
Everything was comfortable and very clean. We wished we could have stayed longer, there is so much to do, and explore in the area. We'll just have to come back again!
The owner was nice and helpful, and the rental process quick and easy.
We would definitely recommend this warm and wonderful house to everyone. It is perfect for a family, or a group of friends.
Thank you, Barbara!

My family and I rented this home for our son's graduation from Amherst college. The house was charming, clean and comfortable. There were 6 adults and there was plenty of room and privacy for all. We enjoyed the screened in patio in the evenings and took in the green, beautiful woods from the windows. The kitchen was well equipped, and was great to be able to prepare meals here. The house was only a few minutes from downtown Amherst and the college. Very convenient to Amherst College, UMASS, Hampshire and Mt. Hoyoke. I would highly recommend this property! A real pleasure!

The property couldn't have been a more perfect fit our party of 5 adults. Good beds, comfortable sitting areas, generous kitchen, idyllic gazebo on the back deck. We would have loved to have had more time to stay and explore the area with Barbara's beautiful home as our base.
