About this villa rental
The village of Smrček is situated in the Vysočina region of the Czech Republic, located in the southern part. Smrček is primarily renowned for its opal fields, but due to its ideal location, it serves as the perfect starting point for tourists seeking an adventurous vacation.
Our accommodations in Smrček, nestled amidst an orchard, consist of two houses, each containing two apartments. We rent out two of these four apartments individually, but there is also the option to rent the entire premises for group trips, weddings, or other events. Both houses are constructed in a modern style, featuring large windows that provide ample natural light. The houses are adorned with light brown wooden tones, allowing you to immerse yourself in the Czech nature without compromising on luxury.
The first apartment can accommodate up to six people. Despite two apartments being housed within one building, each unit possesses its own entrance. Inside this apartment, you will find three double beds, two of which are located in separate bedrooms and one on the mezzanine level. For scorching summer days, air conditioning is available, and the modern kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, Tchibo capsule coffee machine, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. In one of the two houses, there is a communal area accessible to all travelers, regardless of whether a single apartment or the entire location is rented. This space features a wine shop, a beer tap, and a covered terrace where you can enjoy delightful pastimes. A barbecue grill is also provided, and meat can be pre-ordered, allowing you to organize a delightful barbecue during your sunny Czech holiday. If you wish to avail yourself of this option, please inform us in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements. The apartment also boasts its own terrace, where you can unwind with a refreshing Pivo or a warming cup of tea after a long exploration of the Czech Republic. Additionally, there is a swimming pond where you can swim laps or cool off under the warm Czech summer sun.
Smrček serves as the ideal starting point for excursions to UNESCO monuments. From Smrček, you can easily reach Žďár nad Sázavou, the star-shaped Pilgrim's Church, which is also included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. However, this is not the only UNESCO heritage that the Vysočina region has to offer. Here, you will also find the historic city center of Telč and the opportunity to discover the Jewish history of Třebíč. Yet, this Czech village is not only suitable for exploring UNESCO sites. It is also located just 1.6 km away from Pernštejn Castle, a 13th-century fortress acclaimed as one of the best-preserved Gothic-Renaissance fortresses in Europe. And if you wish to visit a city, that is also possible. You are within an hour's drive from the magnificent city of Brno. In Brno, you will encounter impressive architecture, Moravian caves, as well as a zoo and a dinosaur-themed amusement park, making it a perfect day trip for the whole family.
