Amazing location that's next to the city square. 10min from bus terminal. Secure luggage storage. Courteous staff and onsite tour (Cotopaxi tour is only $35pp with lunch. Recommend as a budget alternative to the Secret Garden offering) information and booking. Good breakfast and a kitchen guest can use.
The hostel is also a sister hostel to the all famous Cloud Forest hostel on the Quilotoa loop that with the same level of hospitality and affordable. Don't miss when you do the loop!
Though, I was able to meet people but the hostel was pretty quiet and host shuts the front door pretty early in the evening. It was a bit inconvenient to come back late at night that might potentially wake the host up just to open the door. (It's probably for a security reason, which I do appreciate)

It is cheap but the staff is friendly, the rooms are big, the shower is good (not always super hot) and breakfast is included. They keep your luggage for free when going hiking. Don't expect the Ritz for the money... I would stay here again.
There was a bit of smell in room number 2 from the sink and room number 5 had some mold on the ceiling.

Naprosto skvělé ubytování přímo v centru města. Pokoje jsou prostorné, v koupelně teče teplá voda a postele jsou pohodlné. Výborná je snídaně a také je tu moc fajn personál. Zařídí zde i různé výlety za dobré ceny.
Wi fi připojení by mohlo být rychlejší a stabilnější, ale to je detail. Jinak vše perfektní.

Perfect location. Early breakfast to allow using the early morning. Good advice on trips by the staff including checking the latest bus schedules. You can also book trips directly at the hotel. Good dinner recommendations.

Central hotel near the square, 15ish minutes walk from the bus terminal, close to everything. Friendly staff, nice breakfast (included) and free bag storage while we did the Quilotoa loop.
Room was strong smelling of a mix of garlic/sewage.

This was a very pleasant surprise. The room we got was huge for the same price as a smaller room, although none of the rooms were too small. Breakfast was great and there were even board games. The location was right next to the central square but not at all noisy. Staff was friendly and helpful, too.
It was quite difficult to find, you have to walk through a tamal restaurant to get there. The sign says the name of a different place, but, they were super responsive when we messaged and asked for directions.

Súper recomiendo este lugar para hospedarse! Edison y Santi son súper amables desde tu llegada. El hostel está bien ubicado en el centro y es muy bonito. Acogedor, lindas habitaciones con camas cómodas y muchas frazadas para no sentir frío.
En la mañana sirven el desayuno, rico y completo, y con la amabilidad característica del personal.
Brindan un montón de información sobre qué hacer en Latacunga y ofrecen algunos tours. Nosotras hicimos el de Cotopaxi con Saúl y lo recomendamos muchísimo, todo estuvo impecable.
Sin duda volvería a alojarme acá 🫶🏻

Hay una parte del hotel nueva y una vieja. La parte nueva esta muy por encima de la vieja. Me hospedé en las dos partes. Aunque haya diferencias ambas tienen muy buena relación calidad precio. El personal es amabilísimo. Camas cómodas, wifi rápido y muy bien localizado. Repetiría

There us no hostel at the location indicated by booking.com. They don't answer the phone. I had to search, find a taxi, find a hotel. There is no accomodation by this name in the whole of Latacunga. Reported the problem, still get a review request? They probably cherged ne as well???

The staff was super helpful and nice. They went out of their way to help us plan day long excursions to get to know the rich history and amazing sights in the Cotopaxi province. I couldn't be happier.
