About this house rental

Calm and peaceful two bedroom bungalow. It is a warm and welcoming home just a few minutes walk from the beach, just right for a relaxing holiday by the sea. Near to local amenities and good bus service. Also has easy access to Margate, nearby bays and Broadstairs.

Accommodation all on one level, with accessible shower room, 2 bedrooms with 1 double and extra folding sofa bed, and 1 triple bunk (double and single), kitchen, living room, spacious conservatory and enclosed garden.

A tiled entrance porch is ideal for taking off sandy shoes and wet beach gear and has storage for coats and shoes. This leads into a hallway with access to the kitchen and living area.

The kitchen is well-equipped and includes electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. No drier but there is access to a washing line in the garden and an airing rack found in the cupboard of the main bedroom.

Large living area that will seat five comfortably, with 3-seater sofa and two armchairs (two riser/recliners). Freeview TV including Netflix with Wi-Fi internet access, and stereo CD player. Patio doors look out into the conservatory and the garden beyond.

The conservatory is bright and spacious. It’s perfect for those days when the weather is a little overcast or rainy, although not many of those in a typical Margate summer. Includes three armchairs and two stools. The dining table with 6 chairs provides for family dining.

A pretty, private garden is fully fenced. It's a real sun trap, ideal for sun-bathing and relaxing. Table and chairs are provided. You can see a magical miniature village.

Bedrooms are well-appointed. Main bedroom is at the back overlooking the garden and includes a double bed, chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe with plenty of storage space for suitcases and bags. There is also a single sofa bed. The room has a Freeview TV.

The second room is at the front and comes with a triple bunk: single at the top and double underneath, and a chest of drawers and wall hooks for clothes. Quilts, bedding and pillows for beds are provided.

The bathroom is a modern accessible shower room, fitted with toilet, shower and sink. All towels (except beach towels) provided.



We offer flexible check-in and check-out times, however where we have guests coming or leaving the same day we may apply usual check-in times after 15:00 and check-out times before 11:00.

There is a keylock box available so collecting the key and access anytime should be possible. You will need to return the key to the keylock box when you checkout. We require you to provide your arrival and departure timing to agree checkin and checkout times so we can coordinate with other guests. If you stay beyond your agreed check-out time you will be liable to pay for an extra night at your average nightly price.


The cleaning fee covers cleaning and preparation of the property for your stay as well as a set of fresh linen and towelling provided for each guest. This includes one set per your stay, should you require additional towelling or linen please request this or if you have opened a fresh pack even if you use only a few items there will be a charge of £30 per pack - each pack contains fresh linen, large and small towels.

Any sort of parties, gatherings or events are strictly not permitted, the property is for accommodation purposes only for the guests staying. This property is located in a residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise or any activity that would disturb

the neighbours. If it's been reported that there are any parties or events or noise disturbance then you may be required to leave the property immediately without the remaining nights being refunded. There is a charge of £500 if any evidence of a party, gathering or event at the property have been found exclusive of any charges relating to damages or additional cleaning costs to get the property in good order again. We trust you will respect the property and neighbours during your stay.

You are required to keep the place reasonably clean and tidy - no dirty dishes left over or excessive rubbish to be disposed of as this is not included in the cleaning charge. If the place is very messy or untidy or there is excessive rubbish to be disposed of then we will need to request an extra cleaning fee.

There is a strictly no smoking policy inside or in any outside spaces (which includes garden spaces, balconies, terraces or patios) belonging to the accommodation, if this policy is not adhered to a charge of GBP 150.00 will be applied

No pets are allowed unless shown on the listing as permitted or expressly agreed with the owner.

Lost keys, damaged keys or getting locked out will incur a charge starting from £100 for replacement depending on the type of key and time required or getting you back in the property if you have locked yourself out.

We do not accept Cash payment for any of the charges mentioned above.

Very spacious property with everything you could possibly need! little things that matter to a family are to hand, such as a container or even sunscreen. I was very surprised with all the extras. My three little ones had ample space to bond and play, be it in the bedroom, front room or private garden. Very quiet area and felt secure. It did get pretty warm so a large fan is required during the summer, espicially in the conservatory. The decor took me back to my childhood, very nostalgic. Having said that the bathroom and kitchen have been updated. Ovarall a good stay. Thank uou.

Located on a very quiet estate, near to a shop and clifftop walks. Beach access nearby if you are happy to scramble, otherwise you can walk to Botany Bay. Comfortable and clean. (Would not personally have carpet tiles in a kitchen but luckily we didn't spill anything!). Definitely plan to return.
