VERY pleased!! Entire room was completely updated, VERY VERY CLEAN (and that is my #1 priority), HUGE room with all of the amenities you would need. And the price was fantastic! Great location, very close to Kalahari and Cedar Point. Easy to find. Would definitely stay there again.

My daughter, son-in-law and grandsons were here from Tennessee for a wedding. I live close to Detroit, so I drove down to take them to Cedar point for the day. There were seven of us all together so we needed a big place to stay overnight and this place was reasonable for the seven of us. There was plenty of room And and it was clean.

We had a great stay. Slept great after walking around Cedar Point all day. Easy to get into room. Loved the decor. Only 2 downsides, It was very dark outside during our stay I needed to run to the store and was unsure of where the exits were and when I was coming back it was hard to see where the place was. We originally arrived when the sun was lighting our way. The other thing was that a 1 night stay was not long enough to explore the area and see what there was. So glad we booked again in October with my family.

Excellent place to stay in Sandusky County for affordable rates.

This is a pure Gem to stay at! We loved it and will always stay here. Our kids were blown away with the family suite and how they had their own space but we were with them at the same time.

The staff and owners were friendly and accommodating. The check in and out process was easy.

This adorable remodeled motel was excellent! I wasn’t sure when booking what to except but our room looks like it was just redone and had a 70’s chic vibe. The beds were very comfortable. Our family of 5 stayed in a family suite. We will happily stay here again on our next Cedar Point adventure.

Self check-in was very convenient and easy! Clean rooms with very comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Would stay here again 10/10!

We stayed 2 nights, room was cute and very clean, no complaints, check in was a breeze, Cedar Point is only minutes away! The only down fall we had is the food truck was never open even though the signs said food truck now open, but there was other food options close by! Great stay, they offer a lot of outdoor activities such as corn hole, spikeball, fire pits and grills, will definitely stay again

Was large enough for my family, close to everywhere we wanted to go and the amenities were perfect. Would definitely stay again!

10/10 very comfortable beds, very clean and well designed rooms to accommodate pets. I was able to check in early with a reasonable fee. the manager I spoke with was very nice and professional. The grounds are great to walk your dog. They also have a food truck on site. I would definitely stay again.

Very good place overall
Very clean
Very comfortable
Very close to Cedar Point
No front desk attendant
One thing that annoyed us was the washer and dryer was running loud close to our room all the way until after midnight
Bathroom door was not closing properly
Only those little things should improve
But will stay there again for sure

So cute and a fun place. Only recommendation is to upgrade the bathroom soap and shampoo so your customers don’t smell like Walmart all day lol 😆

The property is very clean and tidy. This was a family vacation and we had a dog with us as well. I loved that there were 3 beds, one being a king, plus being pet friendly. I loved how clean it was and that the floors weren't carpeted, in case of a dog accident (there weren't any, but it gave me piece of mind). I didn't hear the neighbors at all, so I'm assuming it is insulated well also. The train was annoying, but not their fault. I liked the access to the nice lobby, for the bathroom, when one of the 5 of us already took the bathroom. I did find it odd that even though we booked the room for 6 people, in case my dad joined us for a couple days, they only gave us 5 towels. But I emailed them for a towel refresh of 6 towels and they quickly got them to us. My biggest issue was how minimalistic the place was. There's no dressers anywhere in the room, not even a side table with drawers or anything. We packed 5 people into 3 suitcases and had no way of separating their clothes easily, and had to live out of those suitcases for 5 days. There was no couch in the room, just 2 chairs, so I feel there was plenty of places that a dresser could have gone. The bathroom is tiny with nowhere to place personal items, so all shower supplies had to go on the floor of the shower. There is a tiny shelf that holds 2 bottles that they provided though. The bathroom door was very tough to open and close and there were ants in the door frame of bathroom, but we sprayed dawn spray and killed them.

the property was a cute motel away from other lodging choices.
the downfall was the train that kept coming through that was across the street

The property owner was easy to get a hold of, answers questions and was very polite. I loved the retro look and feel. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.

We had a very enjoyable stay. We were pleased with the room that we had. We were surprised that we did not have any tissues in the room to use. Once we go the check in link directly sent to us, we had no problems with getting into our room. We would have liked to try the food trucks that were mentioned, but we never found the hours of operation for this.

Self check in was very unorganized and the instructions and communication between the staff and customer is extremely poor. Once we did get our room number and door code, we see that the door was difficult to use and a pain to even get to relock. There were two boards attached to the entrance holding the frame on that was pretty sketchy, and definitely did not feel safe whatsoever. Someone easily could push open the door from the outside. That and if you want a goods night sleep, 10/10 do not recommend as there is a train right outside the building the runs every 30 some minutes that the owners pleasantly decided to leave out of the description.

We were just in Sandusky for the iron man race this past weekend. This property is a hidden gem. Close to all Sandusky attractions, clean, friendly staff and newly renovated. Best of all dog friendly. We sat outside in the back of the property with our dog every evening. Owners are very friendly and will help you with all your needs.
Previous reviews about the train. It was not bad and I never heard it during the night. My husband wore ear plugs just in case and heard nothing.

We had a wonderful stay here! My girlfriend and I wanted to visit Cedar Pointe and this is the perfect place. Had the executive suite and it had 3 rooms, 3 beds, 2 TV’s, a kitchen area, and a full fridge and freezer. 10 minute drive from target/other shops, 5 minutes from the park, wonderful location but the room itself was clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom is nice and shower worked perfect. Couldn’t have been a better trip and a big reason was this place. So convenient and would recommend to my friends and family!

Room was very nice, clean, and quieter than some other places near by. Justin was a tremendous help to my family, definitely going above and beyond for next level service. He found valuable property left behind in our room and immediately called to get it returned to us. Justin drove many miles and expended a lot of his time to meet up with us to get it returned. He is truly a passionate business owner and cares about doing the right thing more than monetary values. He is an asset to the community and folks should definitely consider staying here.

This place is less than 10 minutes from Cedar Point. The rooms were very clean. They are quit when responding to questions.

10/10 Recommend! If you are looking to stay somewhere after a day at Cedar Point this is the place! It is super clean, beds were so comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming! I will definitely be staying here again in the future. It was also much more affordable than other hotels in the area! They have an area where you can play yard games and have a bonfire. There’s also a food truck up front with a variety of options. Check in was also a breeze!
