It could have been great, the drive was pretty, but the first impression of the house IN and OUT was very rough. The house itself was not marked and there was no address sign in the driveway to indicate we were at the right house. It was as though the host didnt care that we were arriving. didnt check to setup the place for us- no handsoap, no shampoo, no dish soap, although every platform description said it would be provided. There was very little toilet paper and the beds looked filthy because all the comforters on the beds were dirty. There were no extra pillows and no shams. It had nice carpet, seemed new, and the kitchen and dining area was nice. Outside. the firepit was very overgrown and disorderly, so we couldnt use it, and although the grass was mowed, there were alot of overgrown weeds close to the house. I wouldnt go again unless a trusted source let me know things had changed.

The location was slightly hard to find but the inside of the house was beautiful and there was plenty of room! We had 6 adults (3 couples) and one toddler and we all had plenty of room! We enjoyed this hope and will definitely be coming back in the future.

As this was my first VRBO stay I must say I was really impressed. The house is spacious, clean and beautiful. The house was stocked with everything from toilet paper to pots and pans. The Host was easy to communicate with and respectful of our privacy.
The only issues I have is I still don't know what the non refundable cleaning fee was for if we have to wash our own bed linen and towels, take all the trash out to the porch and clean the kitchen. It was also stated if we don't start the washer with our bed linen and towels we MAY occur another cleaning fee on top of the original cleaning fee. This place was also 30 mins from the party scene so if you come to party be ready for that drive. Overall I will definitely be back but this time I will bring my kids as this house fits at least 12 people comfortably.

Overall property was fine, served the purpose, had plenty of room. Finding the property was quite confusing as there were 3 properties on a single lane road. In addition the emails about the property had all three in it which were confusing. Ray’s Place didn’t have the house number on the road and then the house number has been painted the same color as the house meaning you cannot see it. The sign couldn’t be read from the road. While we eventually figured it out, it was a challenge. Consider putting a sign on the drive for each property that can be seen by a traveler not familiar with the property. Similar type sign off the main road would be helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Rays Place overall. The inside looks to have been recently updated and it was nice and clean throughout. However, much of the kitchen pans and cooking ware were old and not usable. There was not extra toilet paper in the house, the heating which were a few wall units did not keep the house warm, and there were no trash bins to put the trash bags in. The vrbo site said there was soap provided but the clothes soap container was almost empty and there was not soap in the bathroom. Communication with the owner was good, very responsive. Great area for the dogs to run outside. Would maybe stay again in warmer weather, knowing to bring our own soap and pans.

This is farm house. It's not fancy but it was comfortable and we enjoyed the country setting. It was clean and the hosts were easy to communicate with.

Very nice one night stay for my friends and I. The inside was very nice, and the check in/ check out process was so lowkey and easy! I would defiantly stay here again, great for a party of for up to 7.

The outside needs some work but the inside has been very nicely, completely remodeled. It’s seems remote but is in town. Trees are very pretty this time of year. Had a little trouble finding it at first but worked out. Needed some extra toilet paper and paper towels. We would have take the trash out but didn’t see a place to. Needs some check in and out instructions. Concerned maybe the sheets were not clean on one of the beds, but they had extra to switch out. We had a very nice time here.

House was very clean. We stayed one night for an NFL ballgame. We enjoyed our stay. Check-in was very easy and they accommodate an early check-in as well. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

The outside of the house wasn't that great. The inside was very good. Our dogs really liked it they had a lot of room to roam of leash. The only complaint would be having an address sign at the street and an arrow pointing the direction to the correct house. because we came in from to opposite direction and did not see the correct house number. It did serve our needs.

The house was nice plenary of room. The cleanliness was good. There were a couple minor things if I was to be picky. There wasn’t a vacuum available, most might not use one on vacation but I would have liked it for the grass we tracked in.
The only negative thing was the directions. They were difficult to follow. We managed to make it there just fine though.

We loved the space in this 4 bedroom house. Lots of seating. Beds were comfortable and lots of extra bedding and blankets. Everything worked as it should, especially the hot water which was very hot (be careful). We would stay here again if We come back to the Kansas city area
