Much needed rest and lovely view. We liked the community as well, and felt safe out for a walk. I hesitate to draw too much attention to the area so it doesn't get swallowed up by some big resort or something..ew 😅😬 I'm a first timer to UP and dig it ✌️ impressed with the whole UP actually. will

We had a great stay. The weather was great and being right on Lake Michigan was awesome. The kids swam and played on the lakeshore.

We are a family of 5 with three kids under 18.Pros: Awesome location on a quiet road facing Lake Michigan. Beautiful views with lots of glass windows/patio doors facing the lake. The house is loaded with extras throughout: games, towels, sheets, non-perishable food, toilet paper, etc. The owner representative is super responsive. All around it was a very well maintained home!!Cons: We stayed during the alewife fish die off. This is of course not in the control of the owners; however, the beach is littered with these dead fish causing a strong odor when outside and making it not terribly pleasant to swim/play in the sand. Also, the neighbors have two dogs that are not leashed up, so that was a bit disconcerting when they ran at us several times during our stay. Luckily the dogs seemed friendly and their owners called them back pretty quickly.

My wife and I and some friends came up over Memorial Day weekend and had a very good experience. We really enjoyed the views of Lake Michigan! The cabin had a good arrangement with three bedrooms as well as an open and spacious main room. We had several meals there and also enjoyed the back porch/deck. We also appreciated the cabin was dog friendly! The area is quiet and scenic, with a park and boat launch area within walking distance. We appreciated being on a side road where there was not much traffic. I will say the mosquitoes were quite plentiful, even in the yard by the cabin, although that is to be expected during spring in the Northwoods. Thank you!

Such a cozy and relaxing place to spend time in the U.P. Close enough to be able to day trip and sightsee local attractions with a relaxing home base to come back to; the beach and lake make this place a destination all its own without leaving the property. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful place to relax and recharge.

The beach house was super clean and had everything we needed for a weeklong stay, including a stocked kitchen and items for beach fun. We loved the beach, which is shallow for quite a long ways and provided hours of entertainment for our family. The host was great about communication and was helpful. Will stay again!

This cozy lakehouse was exactly what we needed for a simple week at Lake Michigan! The views of the lake and listening to the sounds of the water from inside the lakehouse were our favorite parts. Thanks for a great week!

Enjoyable and relaxing. Inside is clean and comfortable with perfect up north feel. Master bedroom is amazing, bed is super comfortable and falling asleep listening to the sounds of the waves is amazing. The owner is super helpful and responsive to any questions and offers great suggestions of things to do in the area. The beach is amazing and just steps outside offering fun for all ages. Perfect vacation spot with little kids. We had a wonderful time hated to leave and can’t wait to return.

Beautiful home steps from the beach. Very clean and comfortable which I greatly appreciated. Host answered all of my questions promptly and was very easy to work with. Hope to go back again some day.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend. The new appliances and ample cookware were really helpful! The beach and access to the Bay were amazing for morning, afternoon, and evening walks. Overall we had a great experience and hope to come back soon.

Owner was very responsive when contacted. The cabin is a lovely, comfortable, very clean getaway steps from the lake. The cabin was well stocked with everything one would need. We’d definitely book it again.

We enjoyed walking the beach, and the great view right out the cabin windows! Very easy to find the property. We had a good meal at a local restaurant. Hostess was very responsive. Kitchen was well stocked.

Upon arrival, everything was squeaky clean and exactly as described. The beach was so fun and we had a great time. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we'd stayed in and we wanted for nothing. The host was always easy to get a hold of if we needed anything. The beds were all comfortable and we loved listening to the waves each evening. We loved the location. It was quiet and the stars were out of this world. Highly recommend.

We spent a much needed, relaxing week at the cabin. There was no internet, spotty cell service....which was just what we needed to unplug and take in the view and sounds of the lake. While the location is somewhat remote, we were able to explore nearby waterfalls, Pictured Rocks, shops in Manistique and Marquette, and more. The cabin had everything we needed to prepare meals, enjoy sunny days on the deck, and cool evenings around the fire. We would definitely recommend.

Everything was just as described. Quiet beach-front cottage, steps from the water and friendly neighbors. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, all the needed supplies. We had great nightly outdoor fires right near the water. We loved hearing the waves at night while going to sleep. Plenty of things to do, golf, fish, boat or picnic. The place is off the beaten path but everything needed within a 25min drive. We very much enjoyed out stay and would happily return.

I needed a stay that surrounded me with waves and quiet. I was able to find the location easily. Parking the car I walked up to the back of the house and there is the beach and the beautiful lake. Instantly I knew this was perfect. Entering the house I opened the windows and I could hear the waves throughout the house. It was a bit hot yet a very nice breeze. My first nights sleep in the amazing master bedroom was comfortable and I fell asleep with the waves right from the window. I swear I had not slept that well in at least 2 years. Morning sunrise greeted with the sounds of nature was a moment of calm. I discovered the electricity was off but it was only because of the storms the day before. The host immediately responded and and even offered to buy me breakfast and coffee. This wasn’t her fault though and she contacted the city right away. Very responsive and helpful. Electricity back on after only an hour. This is a beautiful gem of property. The pictures are exact. Beach is clean and just steps away from the deck. I was able to drive away on my last day refreshed and renewed from months of stress. I love this place and the host was kind and very responsive.
