3 of us stayed here for 6 days in mid-July. We loved the great view of Plymouth Harbor, watching the boat activity and birds and amazing sunsets. We didn't think we'd get to see sunsets on the East Coast but because of the location high up on the NE bluff of Plymouth Harbor, we definitely got them! It was really hot the week we were there so we didn't enjoy the deck, but the glassed porch was a great spot. The view made us change our plans to make sure we were back at the house early enough in the evening to enjoy the sunsets. We also really enjoyed the rocky beach you can walk down to. The property listing mentions this but there are a lot of steps if you're parking in the driveway. There is another parking area above and to the rear which is a little easier walk...just a little harder to find off the road. We ended up really liking this location, it was quiet with the great view, but still a short easy drive to Plymouth downtown. The house isn't very big, but a good size for 2 - 4 people. Kitchen was well stocked. The check-in and check-out process was easy, and I have to say that communication with the owner was the best I have ever had with VRBO (I've never had a bad experience either, but this was the best). Timely information about the check-in process, what we needed to know for the house, and tips for our stay in the area. The only thing we didn't get to experience was watching a storm over the Bay, we thought that would have been interesting.

The accommodations were marvelous and were everything described in the Vrbo advertisement. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Rick communicated with us prior to our arrival and rapidly responded to any questions we had while there about local attractions. Rick provided us with recommendations on the local offerings. The house was exactly as it appeared in the pictures listed on Vrbo and the sunsets were stunning. Using the binoculars and telescope provided by the hosts, we were able to see the Plymouth Rock monument as well as the Mayflower II from front windows of the house. We were fortunate to find such a lovely place and will definitely go back again. We would like to say thank you to our hosts, Rick and Sue.

Our stay was great, however it was too short. I could have sat in the sunroom and looked at the bay all day. Great house, great location and friendly folks. Highly recommended.

We planned a 4-day trip to Plymouth to visit family. This property was everything we could have asked for. The house is located on a quiet, dead end street and offers such a beautiful view from the sunroom and deck. As promised, we saw an absolutely gorgeous sunset! If clouds hadn't moved in so quickly, we may have been able to take advantage of the telescopes. The house was clean and very well stocked. Communication from the property manager was great--from a welcome message, to recommendations for places to eat and things to do, to a final message wishing us a safe trip home--we felt very welcome. We would definitely recommend this rental and would be happy to stay again on a future trip to Plymouth.

My family and I had the chance to visit Plymouth for a few days in February. The house was excellent and the property manager was great! He gave us recommendations around the area and was very helpful in all respects. We greatly appreciated his attentiveness and he made our stay easy and comfortable.
The view from the sunroom was elevated on a hillside close to the shore and encompasses a good portion of the bay. We had fine weather and were able to see orange sunsets, twinkling lights of Plymouth, and the stars at night. They even had a few telescopes set up for viewing the stars and the cozy fireplace warmed off the winter chill after being out for the day.

Our house was a beautiful, comfortable place to stay. All amenities needed and spacious. Tons of deck space. The location was great! Minutes from Plymouth, less than an hour to points around Cape Cod. Our host was attentive and informative on all aspects. I highly recommend and i would come back again in a heartbeat!

Travel once or twice a year with lifelong friends (couple). This house was superb for visiting and for staging day trips in the area. Visited sites between Cape Cod to Rockport MA, including Boston. A very convenient choice for those areas and Plymouth has some wonderful areas to explore and great food too. The hosts (owners?) were EXCELLENT at providing helpful hints and in quickly responding to our inquiries. We would explore during the day and play games at the huge table in the sunroom every night. We highly recommend this place for small families and for couples’ reunions. Beautiful deck spaces that overlooked the bay and the sunsets unobstructed. Didn’t want for anything during the trip. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Thank you for allowing us the space!

Warm and cozy, with world class views. Well-equipped for cooking and plenty of space for family gathering. Lots of steps and inclined walking to get into this charming home, not a problem for us... but prospective renters should be aware.

The house met our expectations, based on its description in VRBO. We stayed for just two nights, in winter, so only climbed down to the beach once and did not do sightseeing. It was very clean, the bedrooms and baths and kitchen were fine, and the front sunroom was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the view! The front steps provided good aerobic exercise but were a bit challenging, especially at night. The moss on the back path seemed a little slippery in the rain. The owner was friendly and available by phone. I would recommend this place to friends.

My husband, along with our two children often travel to the Plymouth area from California to visit family as my husband grew up in the area.
It had been a year and a half since our last visit and we needed to get back to see my husbands Father, the kids Grandpa who is 84.
The homes we have booked in the past were not avail this time so we went for a new home, the home was located outside of town, but closer to Grandpas home. Grandpa was not able to access this home due to the multiple floors of stairs leading to the home, but that was ok, we spent time at his home.
We have other family in the area and on our first Saturday night we had a few Aunts and Uncles come by to see our kids and visit before a few of them left town for the season (retired and spend time at their homes in Naples Fl). We had ordered dinner from one of our favorite local spots, Mamma Mia’s, pizzas and salads.
At about 7:45 I received a text from the host who is also the home owner stating “no parties allowed” I thought it was very odd, he must have driven by and seen 4 cars in the driveway, who knows, but I let him know “no parties, just dinner with some local family who stopped by”.
It left me feeling very uncomfortable but since we were doing nothing wrong, we carried on and enjoyed the week visiting some of our favorite local spots and family around town.
Two days before we were leaving I got a text from the host asking us to put out our trash as he would be by to collect it (this is how it’s done in this part of the country).
We were having a lazy day that day and were home when he came by, I had the front door propped open as it was unseasonably warm weather for MA and wanted to get some fresh air through the house. I was standing in the kitchen so I saw him as he picked up the trash, we had a short conversation, small talk, he seemed fine and I didn’t think a thing of it until I got a text about 30 minutes later from the host reprimanding me for leaving the door open and our excessive amount of trash.
I was SHOCKED, never have I ever experienced anything like this with previous hosts. We have rented many homes over the years through multiple short term rental companies and have had nothing but great experiences with both the homes and the hosts.
This communication seemed so petty, unprofessional, and rude, it left us feeling so uncomfortable. I would not recommend renting this home due to the host and his micromanaging of your vacation.

Visiting the East Coast wasn't really on our radar, but our daughter and son-in-law really wanted to visit Salem during October. My wife and I wanted to visit the Monument to the Forefather's so Plymouth seemed like the best middle point for the trip. Now, I am a travel agent so I have every possible resource at my fingertips to find any type of property you could imagine. We had never stayed at a Vrbo but the views from this property sold us on the idea. Actually, when traveling with an adult child and her spouse, I think a property like this is the perfect solution. We went to Walmart on day 1 to stock up on food, mainly breakfast items, and that got us through the entire week. Did we save money? Not really. We could have gotten a hotel for a cheaper rate, but you're paying for the experience. For us, it was totally worth it.Great communication with the property owner. They were helpful, sending us some recommendations on the best local restaurants (and we tried them all). The house was well equipped with everything needed for the stay. I spent most of my time in the patio room, overlooking the ocean and endless views. Great place to sit and enjoy a quiet breakfast.Another advantage to a Vrbo property...Laundry. You can pack light because you don't have to plan for a week's worth of clothes. With the prices airlines are charging today. A light bag is a big advantage.Overall, it was a great first experience for us in using a Vrbo property. 5 stars across the board.

Our stay was short, but the property was very relaxing. We felt right at home, and we wished we could have stayed longer. The host was very gracious, and the house cute, very clean and well stocked. They clearly take pride in their house, and also provided plenty of recommendations. They have a great view from the wall of windows and even a telescope for whale watching. The town and beaches are just a short drive and we never found ourselves wishing they were closer. The kids had fun exploring the rocky shore across the street, and looking for critters in the tide pools at low tide. We would definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.
We popped into White Horse beach on our way out of town and would recommend that as well.

4 nights in Plymouth MA water view cottage. Lovely windows of waterfront, two outdoor decks, and sliding glass door in main bedroom to upper deck. Very nice bathrooms and comfortable living area.
Quiet street just short drive from downtown Plymouth.
Great hub for visiting all the sights on the Cape, we also drove down to . Newport, RI one morning, returned in plenty of time to have dinner on Water Street in Plymouth

The property was clean, very well-maintained, and comfortable. The kitchen and pantry were very thoughtfully equipped. Rick was on the spot with recommendations and answering all of our questions. Beach access to the property is for viewing purposes only. The path leads to a very rocky area, not suitable for a day at the beach. Fortunately, there is a wonderful sandy beach just minutes away. The view was tremendous with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.

Cozy home is perched mid-level on hill overlooking Plymouth Harbor. Gorgeous views from dining room and outside decks. Very well equipped and very clean. Close to shopping areas. This was the perfect house. It was amazingly clean but also comfy, homey, and welcoming. It was like coming to your own house. It had everything you needed, from staples, to linens, to games, to whatever. Best of all …the view. OMG to die for. I could not stop taking pictures. In the end our short two day stay for a funeral turned out to be a rejuvenating, amazing experience, because of the house and its owner. Amazing. Just amazing.
