It needs some routine maintenance. Dishwasher is not secured . The Uptairs shower was lacking enough hot water. Kitchen faucet handle came off . The blinds are very hard to pull down and up.
The fire alarm came on at 3am, obviously lacking maintenance on the batteries. There is no TV in the living area, only the bedroom.
It does have a good view and fenced yard

I had booked this property last year for my husband’s 50th birthday, but had to cancel due to Covid. We decided to give it a go this year instead and couldn’t be more pleased with our decision. From the moment you walk up to the front door and can see straight through to the breathtaking views, you won’t be disappointed. The house was more than enough for just the two of us, and could easily accommodate a larger group. We didn’t even need to utilize the upstairs. Everything was clean, comfortable, and organized. We had everything we needed and were just a short drive to restaurants and stores. We spent the majority of our time in the spacious backyard with our dog enjoying the peace, tranquility, and gorgeous views. The pictures don’t have even do it justice. We couldn’t have been any happier and will definitely be coming back for another visit!

This stay was even better than our past ones because there are now light-blocking blinds on the master bedroom's east-facing French doors. Wonderful! This has to be the most peaceful place on the planet. Unlike past stays were didn't see any rabbits or deer, but this time we had regular visits from two baby squirrels and a tiny baby marten who lives behind the BBQ. Awesome!

My husband and I stayed at this property for two nights in early October. The house is absolutely beautiful, roomy and so clean. The property was tranquil with an incredible view. We were lucky to be able to bring our dog with us as the yard is fenced. The property was easy to find and convenient to get to the cute town of Langley and other sites on the island. The property manager was informative and friendly. We are glad to recommend Langley by the Sea to other visitors.

What a lovely location! Great view, very quiet and close to Langley. We so appreciated that the property was dog friendly, complete with a large, fenced yard.
The house has a nice kitchen and large dining table. We cooked several meals there and found everything we needed in the kitchen. Very well appointed. There is also a grill and outdoor dining area.
The main floor features a large master bedroom with a water view and door to the backyard deck. Huge walk-in closet and laundry on main floor. There is also a small study on the main floor with a queen-sized bed.
This house would be great for families. There were two bedrooms and one bath upstairs that we didn’t use, along with 2 sitting areas upstairs - one with a TV and the other with a view of the water that would be great for reading or enjoying the view.

Very nice place with great backyard views. Property was clean and kitchen was stocked well enough for cooking at home. We grilled on 3x times on the deck, but needed to purchase grilling utensils that we left at the property. High kitchen cabinets required step stool which was provided. A few on the windows that opened had no screen and that was an issue since we actually had warm weather. On that note- surprisingly no screen doors at frot and back. Would make for great ventilation. Living room modular couch was a minus. Dining table was great. Location was easy to travel to Langley or Freeland or further up the island. Overall- an A-

Our stay was relaxing and rejuvenating. Our two small Yorkies enjoyed the big back yard. We love the breathtaking views - very cool to see Camano Island across the water. The sunrises are magnificent. Just some suggestions - the deck and outdoor patio table and chairs could use some power washing since it's covered in green mildew. Would definitely recommend bringing your own mosquito repellent. We got so many mosquito bites by the end of our stay lol. Also, would be nice to include in the welcome folder about the septic tank alarm. It going off in the morning was such a scare to wake up to. We were thankful for the excellent and prompt customer service guiding us how to turn it off. Turned out it was due to one of the bathroom toilet constantly running. They had a handyman come out immediately to fix it. Other than that, overall our first stay was a wonderful experience. We loved seeing eagles and rabbits running around the backyard. Not cleaned well. Baseboards around whole house was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY! Spills/drips on bottom cupboards not wiped clean! Chain about table absolutely filled with cobwebs, cobwebs all around the windows. Coffee table was cleaned around the outside.. could see where they stopped wiping down.Not friendly for older visitors.. couldn’t get into any bed because they were so high, without assistance! Most Airbnb are stocked with some cheap baggies, Saran Wrap, etc.. this one wasn’t. Spice caddy was half empty. Half bath had leaking toilet, so door had to be closed as to not listen to it all day/night. The landscape needed attention. Steps out front need one painted or something to distinguish the heights difference for visibility.

House and view were amazing. Dogs loved the big gated yard. Kitchen well appointed. Only issue is the dishwasher was a little wonky as the bottom rack wasn’t working well, but I imagine that’s an easy fix. Definitely still 5 stars, and would stay again.

The house was very well laid out with a great TV space for the kids upstairs. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again! It was convenient to Langley and hiking trails. Beautiful view that I took pictures of every morning at sunrise. We saw bald eagles and had a chance to relax with family! It was awesome. I gave it a 4/5 for cleanliness because it needed some deep cleaning of baseboards and bugs/flies up in the window area of vaulted ceilings. It may be because it’s off-season, but we all noticed it—even my kids!

Lovely home for a get-away. Clean and comfortable - amazing views and a large yard. It was fun to watch boat traffic in Saratoga Passage. It is close to Langley, ferry to Mukilteo & not too far from Coupeville, if you want to go for some Penn Cove Muscles (yum).

Beautiful property with gorgeous view of the sound. Clean and well outfitted for our needs. This was a bucket list trip for my 90 year old parents to see my sons property he is developing on the island. Downtown Langley is a beautiful artsy community like no other!

Our family (including our 2 year old son + 3 year old Corgi) had an amazing time at Karen's VRBO in Langley! Both the home and overall property exceeded our expectations. The interior was spacious and clean, and could have comfortably slept another few adults or an additional family. And the backyard/view of Saratoga Passage were stunning. Even better, the home is just a short drive (under 10 minutes) from Langley center to restaurants, parks, and shopping, while about 15 minutes to other activities like Double Bluff Beach, Bayview Corner, and South Whidbey Community Park. We hope to return again soon, and would highly recommend to others visiting Whidbey Island!

Beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood with breathtaking views. Home is spacious with privacy for easily 6 people. The property needs some maintenance as the master bedroom bath required the water to be turned off in between uses or it ran constantly. Both showers upstairs and in master only the hand held had enough pressure, the shower heads did not work. The grounds were spacious with plenty of room for our two dogs to run and play. The views were spectacular both sunrise and sunsets.

We were a group of 4 adults and one small dog. The space was perfect for us with one bedroom to spare. The view was fabulous - we loved watching the eagles glide by, the weather change, and the water traffic. The fenced backyard was wonderful for our dog. It was a great way of giving our out of state guests a taste of Washington. Very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, clean, dog friendly home. So nice to be able to let our dog run around the fully enclosed yard while taking in that stunning waterfront view! Takes less than 10 minutes to drive to downtown Langley, where we saw Gray Whales swimming offshore : )

My husband and I, along with our small dog, met our son and his family from Canada at the rental for an early Christmas celebration. The rental was the perfect location to provide a wonderful stay. The home was extremely comfortable for the five of us and the views of Saratoga Passage and beyond were exceptional. There were, however, several areas of lack of maintenance that came to our attention during the stay - the cold water at one of the sinks in the master ensuite had been turned off due to a leak under the counter, there were a number of spiders in the skylight in the ensuite, there were no batteries in most of the battery-operated candles throughout the home, and there were several dead bulbs in some overhead lights as well as the chandelier over the dining table. In spite of these small issues, we would love to return for another stay in this beautiful home.
