About this house rental

Brand new everything, set in Pittsburgh's walkable, historic, and revitalizing Deutschtown neighborhood.

This four bedroom home is perfect for groups visiting the city for conventions, sporting events, concerts, and all other North Shore activities. The property is very convenient to all Northside attractions, downtown, Cultural District, North Hills destinations, and The Strip District.

An open concept first floor creates an ideal gathering space for the whole group. There is a powder room by the lower level stairs.

The second floor includes two small queen bedrooms with generous closet space, split by a Jack and Jill bathroom with a tub. The top floor is a master bedroom and bathroom, with a king bed and a queen-size Murphy bed for expanded sleeping, if needed. There is a washer and dryer in the hallway closet.

We've added another bedroom on the lower level, great for those who prefer a total pitch-black sleeping experience.

We're committed to doing whatever we can to make your stay the best it can be. We absolutely love this city and would be delighted to share with you some of our favorite restaurants, museums, parks or attractions. We respect your privacy and will communicate as little or as much as you wish.

East Allegheny, also known as Deutschtown, is a thriving, historic Northside neighborhood. While the area offers numerous bars, restaurants, and shops, this house sits on a quieter street on the eastern edge of the neighborhood. A community garden is right around the corner, along with a coffee shop.

If you're traveling by car, you'll find no shortage of free off-street parking right in front of the house. Most North Side attractions are minutes away by car or Uber, and The Spring Garden (#7) city bus line also passes through the area; the stop is at the corner of Tripoli and Chestnut St, and this will take you downtown.

We're available to help make your stay the best it can be, but the level of communication is entirely up to you. It is always our pleasure to make suggestions on where to go and what to do - from museums to my favorite walkable streets.

You will also receive a guidebook three days before check-in with recommendations and instructions for the appliances in the home.

The description of the house was very accurate, nicely decorated and plenty of space with four bedrooms and two and 1/2 baths. The home itself gets at least 5 stars! There was also plenty of space for us to play games at the table, we like to play games so that was important! We did walk to nearby Penn Brewery for dinner on Thursday evening, which was close with good food and Trivia! We choose this property due to the proximity to downtown Pittsburgh and to the ball field. We were a bit disappointed when we realized that we couldn't really walk to downtown safely. We drove into downtown Pittsburgh and parked free at the incline, enjoyed the incline and walked around for a short time. This home was a ten minute drive so we returned home for lunch. We drove back into downtown around 3pm and found parking close to the ball field for $20, very nice! We were able to walk the river walk and around the city for a few hours prior to the game. I would say that our few days in Pittsburgh were fun, thank you for allowing us to use your home!

We came into PIT for a 3 day volleyball tournament and wanted something that wasn’t far from convention center and could accommodate a family. It didn’t disappoint. Traveling with my 80 year old Dad would have been hard to walk everyday so Uber was cheap and quick! Quiet area! The only thing I would note is if you are traveling in the summer recommend bringing a fan. It gets very hot on upper floor. Even with running AC on 69 still very toasty. Not fault of AC or owner just that heat rises. It was cooler on the lower floors. Would definitely stay again. Andrew was great. He responded to us quickly and was very helpful and understanding!

This was the perfect location for exploring some of Pittsburgh's top destinations. We easily walked to the Andy Warhol Museum and two breweries (Allegheny and Penn), as well as some great dining establishments like Legends (Italian). An easy drive to the Science Museum, Randyland, and the incline. A bit further, but we also drove to the Carnegie Natural History Museum. We had one child, two adults and two seniors - plenty of space to spread out with a great common area. Coffee was a nice perk (bring sweetener/sugar/milk). House is beautifully decorated and easy to access with convenient parking. Daughter has said we need to stay again!
