The check in process was not good at all. We were set to check in at 4pm. No one notified us that the property wasn't ready. When we got there, beds were not made and place was not clean. The cleaning crew came up shortly after we arrived and so then we had to leave so they could get the place ready for us even though it was already almost 5pm by then. Ceiling fan in bedroom downstairs was broken (one blade missing). There were bugs (lots of them). When you sat outside on the patio, you could see them crawling on the side of the house and into the openings. We also saw some inside of the property. We contacted management and asked to be moved because there were so many of them but was told there wasn't a solution. They did send someone out two days later to spray and put out traps which appeared to help some with the problem. This house could be a great property if taken care of properly. Light bulbs need to be replaced, ceiling fans fixed, regular bug spray (obviously) and the yard is in terrible shape. Weeds and bushes grown up in the back yard which probably adds to the bug problem. The outside trash cans were also full. The property is in a great location. It's a shame that the property is not being managed as it should be. My advice to the owners would be to find a new management company.

What a great house! We loved the outside spaces and sitting on the front porch with our coffee in the morning! Lovely neighborhood and so convenient to shops and restaurants! We will come back!

Golly, we loved this house! Such a perfect location, a lovely street and a dreamy historic home! It accommodated ourselves and our four young children very well. Anytime we ran into a (minor!) issue the rental team was responsive and courteous.

We had a great weekend in Beaufort despite some gloomy weather. The house was well suited for our needs and allowed a friend visiting from out of town to have her own space away from our rambunctious and early rising children! It’s a quick 3 minute walk to the shops on Front St. We would definitely stay here again!

The layout of the house was perfect for 2 couples with enough gathering space but also separate bedrooms/bathrooms allowing for good privacy.

Loved the property. Vacasa sucked! Had lots of problems with them. Lack of communication and information.
