About this apartment rental

This 78 m² apartment is on the 2nd floor in the well-insulated attic which was completely renovated in 2023 and refurnished in the most modern way. The floor is covered with allergy-friendly, high-quality vinyl and creates a pleasant, homely atmosphere.
Between the two bedrooms is the modernly styled bathroom, which was newly renovated in 2023 and is accessible from the hallway.

The living area is open plan and equipped with a flat screen TV. Through the floor-to-ceiling casement window, which can be opened completely, you enter a small balcony where you can have breakfast with a wonderful view of the castle and in the evening you can take in the beautifully illuminated castle with a glass of wine.
From the living area you enter the open kitchen with a counter where you can have a coffee. The cozy dining area is on the other side of the kitchen.
People from near and far love the Moselle region with its picturesque vineyards, wine, historic towns and fairytale castles. So it's no wonder that the Moselle Valley came first in the "Regions" category in a ranking of Germany's most beautiful sights - ahead of Rügen, Mainau Island, Bavaria and Sylt.
The location of the house couldn't be better. In the Kues district in a quiet side street, just 600 m to the Moselle bridge. In the immediate vicinity there are bakeries, a supermarket, various restaurants, cafés, the best ice cream parlor on the Moselle, shops, pharmacies, etc. Bernkastel-Kues is the perfect starting point for hiking and cycling tours along the Moselle and trips to the Eifel, Hunsrück and Luxembourg . But there are many more options. For example, you can take a bicycle shuttle (starts 300 m from the house) to Daun in the Eifel and cycle past the romantic maars and castles on one of the most beautiful cycle paths in Germany, a former railway line, back to the Moselle, it's fine almost a glide. This direction is for leisure cyclists, the opposite for sporty cyclists.
There are numerous hiking trails around Bernkastel-Kues. An absolutely fantastic route with dream views leads over the heights from Bernkastel to Traben-Trarbach. From there you can take the boat back to Bernkastel.
There is a football field 100 m away and a playground just 200 m away from the house.
