We loved our stay here. We are 3 ladies looking for comfort, quiet and close to stores. This house is all that, plus it has hummingbirds. Lovely porch to sit and watch the birds, read and drink coffee. Beds are tall and comfortable. Bathrooms have plenty of towels and amenities. Kitchen is well equipped. Fridge is huge. Plenty of room for anything you want to stock up on. Furniture is very comfortable and in great shape. The thing we liked best is the 100 year old original hardwood floors. Gorgeous. The stairs up to the attic room are fairly steep. Perfect twin bed room for a couple of people who want privacy from the rest of the house. Hosts are nearby. They responded quickly to all questions. This is a completely remodeled and up to date older home. It was just delightful and charming. We will definitely put this house at the top of our list for next time.

We had friends visiting from NYC who stayed at the house. They absolutely enjoyed this beautiful historical home in the historic neighborhood of Summerville.

Overall, the property was very nice and a great location to our family who lives in the area. There are a few things that we would have changed. The beds are extremely high so we would’ve liked further to been a step ladder or step to each other of the bedrooms also we thought about something for people who like the grill outside and it’s great weather right now. Nice grill outside would’ve been lovely but overall the property was very clean there lots of supplies in there and at this point we would book it again

Excellent value. Host was great. Clean, well-furnished.
Suggest a more street-visible house number easily spotted from the street. I found the wrong driveway twice; thankfully the host spotted my problem and directed me to the right drive.
We enjoyed the coffee, water, and snacks.

Lovely house in a wonderful neighborhood. Property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Host was attentive and responded to any needs and questions we had. Neighborhood is beautiful. We took several of Jane's suggestions, including the historic walking tour, walking to town and enjoying restaurants, and walking to the park to play pickleball. Quick and easy drive to downtown Charleston and the beaches. We highly recommend this property for your stay in Summerville and the Charleston area.

This cottage was perfect for our family gathering. It is located in the historic district of Summervile and close to Charleston in a beautiful neighborhood. The landscaping is awesome with birds chirping, smells of blooming flowers and rocking chairs on the big porch. The kitchen was great and the historic character added to the cozy feel of the house. It was very roomy and comfortable. We can’t wait to go back.

Jane was very responsive. The property is beautiful. Great location, many good restaurants close by, grocery stores and not too far from downtown Charleston. We would stay again. If I had any advice (and it wasn’t a huge deal) would be to add an additional tv so a family can divide if needed and not be on top of each other the entire stay 🙂

We have already rebooked for next year so that should say it all. My husband and I went to golf before the season started in Canada. There were many affordable courses within 10-20 minutes. Jane was an extremely responsive host for the few requests we had. We were so lucky to find this spot and hope to return yearly. The porch is amazing, the house was spotless, the quality of beds, bedding and towels were 5 star. Location is beautiful and a short walk into town. If you are lucky enough to book it, enjoy!

The coziest historic cottage, the entire place was so clean and well decorated . The location is very convenient near downtown summerville with so much to do. The owners are very friendly and nice and are very helpful and have great communication. It was perfect for my bridal party to spend quality time together and get ready.
