Very good hotel for a small town

The location is great. And the host at the reception is very nice. They give us a little map with things to go and see.

The beds were hard. I had to look if it was a mattress or a table where I was sleeping.

Location close to market and Andong food street, easy to find good places to eat. Friendly staff.

The bed was very hard and it was like sleeping on the floor. The pillows were unnecessarily big and not very comfortable. Noise travels well between rooms. Although the price is cheap it was not worth it because we hardly got any sleep.

Decent but dated.

Bed was very firm which I personally prefer although some might find it uncomfortable. The room was spacious, comfortable, plenty of charging points and a kettle with tea and coffee.

No breakfast provided however there’s plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby (Mammoth bakery is only 7 minutes walk.

comfortable short stay

Comfy bed, plenty of hot water with good wifi. Ten minute walk to town centre. Staff helpful with town information.

Reception staff unmasked, coughing and sneezing, looked feverish. Lipstick on the cup in my room! Outdated scruffy decor in room. On the booking .com map this hotel looks to be opposite Andong station, BEWARE this station is closed. The new station is a fifteen minute drive ( 10,000 won taxi fare ) outside town.

Sewer pipe noise and no luggage storage.

The location is quite good as it's near the "downtown" and the bus stop to reach the main attractions out of town is right in front of the hotel.

The room had some very noisy sewer pipe issues.. The hotel is quite old but clean. We expected to use a luggage storage on our departure day as it was mentioned in the hotel description.. But the hotel refused. Hopefully we managed to find a luggage box in the bus station.

Not what I expected

The staff was nice and the room was clean.

Everything in the room is very old, the furniture and everything in the bathroom is old and needs to be changed. The room had an odd smell. The fridge was old and very loud, it kept me up all night and the plug was not accessible for it to be easily unplugged.

Good stay for Andong! RECOMMEND

The room was nice and big. It stayed comfortable temperature wise while we stayed there. it’s close to the buses we needed to take and a few good restaurants!

The entrance was a bit strange cuz of the abandoned looking building next to it, but that’s about it.

Fantastic Stay

The hotel is in a very central location. The room was nice and big, with a clean shower with bathtub shower. Check in/out process was easy. Reception man was very helpful showing where to eat and how to get the bus to Hahoe Village.

Overall, it was okay for the price we paid.

The room floor was heated and the chap at the front office was helpful.

Trying to balance the room temperature between the air conditioner and the heated flooring was challenging. As a result, the room was either too cold and breezy or too warm.

Great location, spacious room

The room size! It was enormous, very comfortable. The beds had hard matresses but we like them that way so we slept well. The receptionist gave as a map with bus schedule and near interesting places - very practical! We would have a huge problem without this schedule. Be aware that buses are often late, sometimes run once per hour and finish service early. We could refill our bottles in the reception with fresh cold water. Hotel is a little old, but location and size made up for that for us.

Great location and staff

The man at the front desk was very personable and helpful, and he had excellent English which was a great help! The hotel was only a 5 minute walk to the Mask Festival and a 15 minute walk to the river.

The tub backed up into the bathroom floor on the first day which was a bit unappealing.

OK for price but not particularly warm, comfortable or welcoming

it felt like a haunted house. dark room, squeaky beds with springs sticking out of the mattress. looked like the owners haven’t invest a won since 70’s

Not impressive!

The room was clean, but everything was really dated. The staff I met were nice and polite, but no one was there when I arrived at check-in time.

The mini refrigerator was very noisy; the advise I got from the manager was to turn it off when I was in the room! The bed was uncomfortable, in particular the mattress was hard as a rock and the sheets were synthetic.
