A Disastrous Experience - Avoid at All Costs

This hotel was advertised as a 4-star accommodation, but the reality was far from it. The photos showed amenities like a spa, massages, and a restaurant, but none of these were actually in the hotel. To access them, you have to leave the hotel and walk quite a distance to separate locations. During our stay, a group of motorcyclists entered the hotel pool fully dressed in filthy clothes and used it to wash their boots and backpacks. It was beyond disgusting. The entire hotel does not live up to the 4-star standard; the photos are completely misleading. The breakfast area is combined with what is supposed to be a gym, but calling it a gym is a stretch. This setup felt unhygienic, and most of the equipment and furnishings were old, dirty, and worn out. The nearby beach was ugly and disappointing. I would recommend choosing a different part of Phuket altogether. I don’t understand who writes the positive reviews for this hotel because they are completely inaccurate. As soon as we arrived, we started looking for another hotel. Booking.com was unhelpful with refunding the cost, claiming there was nothing they could do. This hotel is more like a run-down roadside motel. I didn’t feel safe staying there, and it was a complete waste of money. I do not recommend it to anyone!

One of the best places I have stayed at! What an incredible view and beautiful breakfast buffet!

The property was amazing. 3 minutes to the Rawai beach, plenty of restaurants around and a gorgeous view from the balcony. The best part was the breakfast! They have exceptional number of Thai and international items on the buffet breakfast. It was one of the best stays I have been to and will definitely be coming back!

The hot shower is a bit difficult to manage. But once you get a hold of it, it’s easy!

Тільки те , що там гарно прибирають

Все інше , а саме детально хочу розказати про це , коли ми шукали де ми проведемо другу частину своєї відпустки , ми знайшли цей готель , фото - прекрасні, а от реальність зовсім інша, нам дали номер з видом на інший дах вілли , хоча на фото у нас явно був інший номер , у ванній вікно не закривалось , тобто люди з житлового будинку могли любуватися тобою скільки завгодно, та найголовніше, що у ванній була дирка у стіні , і через неї все що б мало стікати у каналізацію , просто стікало у ванну, де можна було просто поплавати наче у басейні , за вікном був якийсь супер жахливий вид на дах , на якому лежали чиїсь згнивші вже речі занесені туди вітром. Сейфу немає , ба більше того , що у кожного в номері була картонка для того , щоб дати знати прибиральницям , що час прибрати - у нас її не було , тому відповідно у нас не прибрали , а цей sign дали нами тільки тоді , коли ми того попросили. Сніданок вцілому непоганий, але дуже все бідно. Я не знаю чому на букінгу у них такий високий рейтинг , вони цього не заслуговують, до такого рівня треба рости і рости , а так це просто картинка , а не реальність. А , і ще якщо ви подорожуєте в Тай перше , то майте на увазі , що це дуже нудний район , але якщо ви любите спокій , то знайте , що до пляжу треба йти щонайменше півгодини! Обирайте з розумом , сподіваюсь цей відгук допоможе Вам не попастися , як нам.

Nice time in Phuket

The swimming pool. Also give free bottle of water every day. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The bed smile from the bathroom. However it's bearable when keeping the bathroom's door shut.

Tres contente de cet hôtel. Je reviendrais une prochaine fois!

Le personnel est très poli, gentil et serviable, très professionnel. Nous étions au 4me étage avec vue sur la mer. L’hôtel est bien placé : au calme, à proximité d’un marché de nuit pour manger ainsi que les restaurants et plages. Hôtel propre. A refaire.

Out of town 1970s travelodge

The young lady at reception was so sweet - almost waiting for the complaints to rain in on her….

Everything - if this was a cheap ‘motel’ type stay for a quick stopover then it’s passable. Staff shouting below our room, loud drilling as they replaced the aircon units and a setting that was just not great. We had a nice hour in the pool as no one else was around - but this was the calm before the storm…no space around the pool with only 4 loungers tucked up between the pool view villas. When we returned from dinner (we found an awesome restaurant ’Rawai View’ just off the other end of the strip) the Chinese families which make up the majority (all signs and aircon remote all in Chinese) had their doors open in tower block community fashion, shouting with kids running up and down the corridor and the pool had been dominated by the very large European family who were clearly disappointed with the setting - but had decided to get drunk and engage in competition to make more noise than anyone else. I was sharing their pain….the fact it’s also 1.5km from the strip with no beach access was the icing on the sad stale cake.

Personal nett … aber das ist alles

Das sollte am Meer liegen … schönes Foto … aber da ist eine stinkende Lagune wo bei Ebbe kein Wasser ist .. Kein Strand un der Umgebung , jeden Tag Taxi das war teuer genug .. jeder Strand ist 4-11 km fern .. es wird von Chinesen geführt … anderes Thema das Frühstück… so schlecht als nie … meine Frau müsste im Krankenhaus nach ein solches Gefäß … würde niemanden raten da Urlaub verbringen.. am Ende wollten die sogar die Reinigung der Leintücher rechnen .. es hatte etwas frage von einer Bekleidung angenommen… nicht anders ..

Nice little hotel with great views.

Very friendly staff, great views from the balcony and clean rooms. Everything was great. Plus they recommended a super good restaurant very close to hotel just after the 7/11 on the main street.

Amazing people!

Our stay in the KANA Hotel was one of the best ones we ever had. The personnel is extremely helpful polite and kind. There is nothing which was not achievable by them. The place is freshly renewed and looks great. Staff is taking care of every little detail. It was clean, fresh, and nearby the local market. The pool with warm and clear water was available anytime. The room was huge. Really recommend that to everyone.

Disappointing

I don’t understand why this one got a 10/10 rating, it seems fake (friends of owner). The staff is great and it is clean, but: - Not beach front - beach is dirty - Extremely hard mattress, had an awful night - no exchange service (as mentioned in listing - no safe in the room (as mentioned in the listing We had to leave after one night stay, unfortunately. - breakfast was basic, not great.
