(Pets are not permitted on town beaches from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The only exception is that you may walk your dog in the parking lot of Red River Beach in South Harwich from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4:30 p.m. until dusk.) You won’t want to miss these other nearby dog friendly attractions while you’re here: start off with breakfast and a coffee at Perks Coffee Shop & Beer Garden, then explore the trails at Thompson’s Field Conservation and let your pup stretch their legs in some of the open fields you’ll find there too.
