-- Lifts: Wildhorse Gondola is just outside the front door of the building. That gondola runs in the winter and takes guests directly to the ski area base
-- Town: 2.5 miles to downtown Steamboat. Less than a mile to Steamboat Ski Resort
-- The pool and hot tub are located on the ground level, behind the property
-- A free private shuttle is available to guests during the ski season. In the summer, there are multiple bus stops within a short walk.

– Accessing the Property – No stairs to enter the building. Elevators to all floors. Unit is a single level.

– Trailhead Lodge is off a main, well plowed road. In the winter and shoulder seasons we always recommend 4wd/AWD as driving conditions can be icy, snowy and slippery.

MINIMUM AGE - Every adult within the rental party must meet a minimum age requirement of 27 years, except when the guest(s) under the age of 27 are the offspring (son, daughter), nephew, niece, or are directly related by blood to one of the other adult members in the group. If your group includes any adults below the age of 27, please reach out to us for potential approval before booking. Age verification will be conducted through our ID verification process after your booking is confirmed
NO SMOKING - Absolutely NO smoking in the property, in the garage (if applicable) or within 10 feet of a doorway. If smoke is detected or signs of smoking, there will be a $500 FINE. No exceptions. If you smoke outside please extinguish cigarette thoroughly and place the butt in a can or bottle. Do not flick onto the property (wild fires are a serious problem here).
NO PETS - No Emotional Support Animals are allowed, whether inside the home or on the premises. Please note that under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), emotional support animals do not qualify as Service Animals. If you possess a legitimate service animal, please inform us about your service animal as soon as your booking is confirmed so that we can make reasonable accommodations. Per Airbnb policy, no animal (support or ESA) is allowed to be left alone at the home without prior approval.
OCCUPANCY - Please do not attempt to bring more guest into the home than are reserved. Our town has strict STR regulations. These regulations restrict the number of persons allowed in a short term rental based on parking, square footage of the home, and sewer/septic size. Bringing additional non-booked guests into the home could result in a cancellation of your booking without refund.
NOISE - We respectfully ask that you respect quiet hours for the home or complex.
LATE CHECKOUT - Checkout is 10am. If housekeeping arrives after checkout and the guest has not vacated the home, the guest will be charged for housekeeping’s time until they have vacated the home. This fee does not award the guest possession of the home after checkout.
FURNITURE - Don’t rearrange the furniture. Guests will be charged for any scratches on the floor due to the dragging around of furniture
RESPECT OUR HOME - No shoes inside the house. This is our home, not a hotel, please be respectful of our property & our things. Excessive cleaning will result in an additional fee for the guest.
PARKING - Each property has an established maximum vehicle allotment. Vacation Rental Co has no control over other HOA management parking restrictions. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the guest to know their property's vehicle allotment and display the given parking permit (if applicable) as instructed at check-in
DAMAGE - Report any breakages or damage when they occur. The sooner we know the quicker we can fix it.
POOLS & HOT TUBS - if advertised as part of a property, some are seasonal and sometimes close. If advertised, please inquire to confirm whether these amenities will be open and available for use during your stay.
KEYS – There will be a fee to guests for lost keys or parking passes. Please leave those items where directed in your arrival instructions.
SIGNING RENTAL AGREEMENT – All guests are required to sign the separate standard VRC rental agreement for stays of less than 30 nights. This will be emailed to all guests as soon as they book. For stays of longer than 30 nights, VRC will email a different, long term rental agreement, since VRC doesn’t abide by Airbnb’s long term cancellation policy. Attractive, comfortable condo with plenty of seating for the 5 of us to relax. The kitchen was well-equipped and big enough for several of us to do meal prep. Balconies with a view were a plus. Meredith, the property manager, made sure we were comfortable and gave us some good tips on things going on in town.

We have stayed at Trailhead Lodge many times. Wildhorse Meadows is incredibly convenient to go back and forth to ski area, and also a quick drive to town. We love the pool, hot tubs, and game room at Trailhead lodge. The unit was very clean, cozy and in great condition. Our teenage daughter also loved the bunk room. This was our first experience with Vacation Rental Company. They were incredibly accommodating and wanting to ensure we had the best experience. Fantastic service from them to rent from, and a wonderful property!

Great stay. Property was exactly as described and even a little better! Amazing views from this high end condo and very convenient to all that Steamboat has to offer. Feet away from the gondola that takes you up to the central ski area so it's easy to ski in and ski out. Highly recommend!

Had the extra touches we’ve missed at other places- paper towels, hand soap, sugar, etc and an adapter to use our computer or tablet with the tv. Beautiful pool and hot tubs!

Plenty of space, vey well appointed condo. Front desk staff was incredibly rude, would not give us even simple recommendations or any property advice because we didn't rent directly through them. Also when we rented property the rental company would not split a payment and this was not disclosed until after we rented unit. So be aware if you have 2 families traveling one is responsible for the full payment.

The best place to stay in Steamboat!

The unit was very clean and much more spacious than other ski properties at which we stayed. Pillows and sheets were very soft and mattresses were just right. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to prepare everything we wanted. The unit is perfect for 3 couples, or 2 couples with 2-4 kids. The room with the twin beds can be turned into a split-king, allowing 3 king bedrooms all with their own baths.
The location was outstanding. We hopped on our bikes and rode the very safe and paved Yampa Core Trail to downtown for dinner and drinks one evening, then walked over to a local coffee shop the next morning. We weren’t here during ski season, but I understand there is a heated ski boot room and ski lockers that are on the short walk to the Trailhead Gondola, which makes it feel as if you are staying right at the base of the mountain.
Nothing better than a hot tub after a day of activities, and this property has 3, of which all are great. Nice workout room with men's and women's locker rooms as well. Heated garage made arrival easy, as well as the short drive (if you don’t feel like riding) into downtown Steamboat for dinner. We had no problems, so my communication directly with Grey, Meredith and their team was minimal - but each time I did contact them, they were more than accommodating and very quick to reply. I have nothing but positive things to say about this property and the renting process through SteamboatRBO. I would highly recommend this property, and can't wait til we come back to Steamboat again.

Very pretty, new unit. Available use of gondola to ski basin. Comfortable master bed. Had 3 bedroom/3 baths for our 2 adult sons. Had a coffee bean grinder and one bag of beans. Had laundry soap. We will choose another unit next time
Did not have shuttle service which we were told it did, other units did have shuttle service to town etc. Had 1 ply thin toilet paper, not sure why a dollar more for regular 2 ply wouldn’t have gone more with their stated upgraded condo amenities. Only one bar of tiny soap for the master to share between a shower, bathtub and 2 handsinks. Absolutely no instructions in an empty instruction book. Took a while to figure out TV cable and never could get bedroom tv on. Other units around us has daily towel service. We had 2 hand towels for the master. No hair dryer. Other units had robes to wear to jacuzzi. These are simple things to have when you advertise upscale anything in your description. I think the thousands paid for 5 nights warrant a few simple upgrades. The unit was pretty, though rusted master bath plug

We had a great stay at this property. The unit was clean and matched the pictures. The location is easy to access and had good parking. The gondola up to the resort makes accessing the mountain simple. The pool and hot tubs got a lot of us by our family. It was a great rental! We would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at Trailhead many times, and continue to come back! Great location in every way ... close to downtown, situated in the sun bowl of Mount Warner, across from a great tennis/pickleball facility and outdoor music park, and direct access to endless walking/biking trails. The condos are clean, well appointed, and offer beautiful views of the mountains from every side. The pool area is lovely, and there are three hot tubs which helps accomodate weekend occupancy surges. Workout room, locker rooms, and game room are additional bonuses. There is also a patio with large grills for those nights you want to eat in. Overall, a wonderful place to stay while you play in Steamboat!

We rented this property expecting a great week skiing Steamboat. Due to the Covid -19 virus & the shutting down of the resort we only spent one night before having to book a flight home.

Condo was fully stocked with excellent quality. From spices to tupperwares…they had it all. The owners clearly have comfort in mind for their guests. High quality mattresses and linens. The lodge is fantastic with wonderful pool and hot tubes. We will be back!

Our stay got off to a very rocky start because the lockbox containing our keys to the unit, that the property manager said would be in the entry way, was not there. There was no one at the lobby desk. We called the number that we had and it went to a nationwide guest services rep and the only thing they could help with was to tell us to call the security company. As we were calling the security company, a maintenance man showed up and asked what was going on. Thankfully, he was able to search through the drawers and cabinets behind the desk until he found an envelope with the keys in it. If it hadn't been for him, we would have been waiting for the security company to respond. There was also no parking permit in the envelope so the maintenance man found those and filled one out for us. So finally we were able to get into the unit but one of the key cards didn't work. We were able to get it reprogrammed the next day. After that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the condo was great. The only thing they need is a large pitcher in the kitchen. Everything else was fine!

The unit is very well stocked with necessary items and beyond. Everything we could need and more was provided. Appliances are quality brands, and clean. The bedrooms and living area are perfectly furnished. Bathroom towels are high quality/fluffy; bathrooms are clean and spacious. It was a perfect 'home base' for our Christmas ski vacation.

We were stunned by how spacious, beautiful, and well-stocked this unit was! Every little thing you could need was here. Really, even a diffuser for the hair dryer! The location is excellent: super close to town and the mountain. The property is beautiful, but difficult to access: very limited hours at the pool, and no one at the front desk after normal work hours. Finally, the management company was a bit inept: our key cards didn’t work, and they never swapped our mattress as they offered to and after we reminded them to. But it is hard to complain with a unit so lovely and convenient—it was the nicest rental we’ve ever stayed in at this price range. Thank you!

Really nice unit. The 2 decks both look onto the mountain with great views. About 1/2 miles from the main bike trail that goes right into Steamboat. Took the kids into town every day for meals and coffee. Super easy 3-4 mile bike ride along the river.
Pool and 3 hot tubs were awesome. Nice little fitness center too. Each bedroom had a TV, we did have one of the units we never found the remote for the TV but it was fine. Would stay here again. Really nice, secure indoor parking.
