The warm hospitality of Egypt wrapped in a perfect garden paradise.

This place felt like home! The staff could not have been more kind and generous and the property is gorgeously unique. If you don’t mind being away from the city a bit, this place is paradise. We were fed Egyptian food from the moment we walked in the door. The owners work hard and clean all day. They want you to be able to relax and find a slice of peace outside the busy city. I will return to Luxor for their kindness <3 highlight of our trip.

The location is further from the temples and city but they will provide transportation and anything you need! Never a problem. There are many cats around, which I adore, but it’s good to know as cats are not for everyone.

Best place to stay in Luxor

Amrou et abdurahman ont été des hôtes exceptionnelles. Un accueil chaleureux et sincère comme à la maison. L'hostel viens d'ouvrir mais c'est l'endroit rêvé pour séjourner au calme de Louxor à 3 minutes à pied des transports en commun.

Chilling,refreshing and pleasant atmosphere.

Staying here was like being in an angle of paradise. After all day spent in a very hot weather and dust, going around all temples, here you can really enjoy a pleasant, refreshing and chilling atmosphere. Jamil is one of the kindest person I ever met on this trip and with his boys he will also make delicious meals whenever you want. Facilities and commodities are also the best. In my room I have a new, silent air conditioning device that make you sleep like a baby! Definitely worth it!

Have to come here.

I love this place, i should have stay couple of nights. They make me feel like home and the food which they provided was so good. The place is clean. Out of my expectations. They maintain the place really well. This place should be more popular and well known.

这是我第二次入住这个民宿，一切一如既往地完美。不得不说，我旅行过那么多国家，这是我住过的最好的民宿。这里的老板和员工把客人当家人看待。早餐十分丰盛。我下午出门，他们会告诉我晚饭时间是几点。每次回到民宿，他们都会说welcome home! 让我感到很温暖。民宿的花园很美，绿植环绕，像一片小森林，每个小角落都可以很舒服地休息。每天早上都伴着清脆的鸟叫醒来，打开门就是一片绿色。民宿非常干净，房间的床很舒服。民宿老板非常友好，非常热心地帮我安排一切，让我感到很安心。这里的所有员工都十分友好。我这次本来打算待一晚，因为太舒服，我又多待了三个晚上。我真的强烈推荐这个民宿！！！

Exceptional Value

Around and his staff are exceptional, so kind, helpful and generous. Traveling alone can be challenging and they understand that and provide a safe haven to relax and laugh in between adventures.. Thanks for s great 3 nights...I highly recommend the Peace Garden Hostel.

Best place for authentic experience, the best food, and making friends

This is one of those interesting and one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The food by far is the best Egyptian food I’ve had yet. The hospitality is second to none. It was great getting to know the host and chatting with other guests. Close enough to all the sites but just far enough away you feel like you’re getting an authentic Egyptian experience. They helped arrange a couple of tours for me and made sure I got a good price.

The true Egyptian generousity

One of the best hostels I have ever tried. The staff was very nice and co-operative. They were so generous with the food,snacks and pretty much the whole service. They gave us a free ride from and back to the train station. The camp vibe is great and the decorations are amazing. Overall it was and exceptional experience

The best stay in all of Egypt

What can I say? My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Everything else was perfect. Omar and his crew are some of the most kind-hearted, helpful and hospitable people that you will ever find in Egypt. Other than the rooms being very cosy and comfortable, spacious, spotless showers and bathrooms, high-speed wifi, comfortable common areas and everything you would want from a hostel, this campsite-hostel hybrid offers a unique Bob Marley theme. The delicious traditional Egyptian breakfasts will leave you full until the evening. To top it all off, Omar and his crew regularly invited us at no additional cost to barbeque meat dinners. Overall, I can say with 100% certainty that from A-Z, this place was perfect and whenever I'm in Luxor it is the only place where I'll be staying at.

Fantastic service and food. Cannot reccomend enough!

The staff here are fantastic, far and away the most friendly people I've met running a hostel or hotel. They are fantastic and nothing was too much trouble! The food was also incredible! Probably the best I've had in 3 months in Egypt!

The location is a little far from the majority of Luxor (around a 45 min walk to the Nile). It was cold when we stayed and they didn't have enough extra blankets for everyone and the heater in the room didn't work. That said that won't be an issue for 95% of the year in Egypt so don't be put off!

Closest thing you will find to “Home” in Egypt.

I love Egypt! I have been here many times, leading a tour and staying in 4-5 star facilities. This time I am traveling alone and I wanted to experience the much more authentic Egypt. I am so glad I chose Peace Garden Hostel! I came here from Spain, and brought a Spanish virus with me. I have been sick since I arrived. I could not have been better cared for. They have fed me, fetched me medicine, entertained me and made me part of the family. The rooms are well done and clean. The bathrooms work. The food is good. The ambience is fantastic. I am sitting in the garden writing this, surrounded by green plants and Bob Marley memorabilia. Someone just brought me tea and there is more if I want it. This morning I had fresh ripe strawberries that are from a local field.

The one thing most travelers may complain about is the location. Peace Garden is not right in the middle of Luxor. It is not next to the Luxor attractions on the West Bank. But it isn’t far, and they are willing to drive me to where I want to go. It is about 5 km to Luxor Temple. The road outside leads directly to the Temple. Taxis are available, as well as guides. The trade off is that it is also much quieter (or as quiet as Egypt gets) than the closer in resorts.

Very helpful hosts and good breakfast

I had a very beautiful stay at the Peace Garden. Very clean. It is a new place. The garden is very relaxing. The breakfast is amazing. The people do their best to make you happy. They helped us a lot with scheduling tours. Highly recommend!

Peace Garden is a lovely relaxing place to stay with a beautiful atmosphere! Welcoming hospitality and treated with kindness! One of the cleanest places I have stayed! A must stay when I am back!
