What a brilliant hotel. Well located - just out of the over touristy area so an easy walk but a bit more local. The hotel is gorgeous and the roof terrace stunning!!! The team there are friendly and proactive. I love they connected with me in WhatsApp before and during. It felt really personal and they were so responsive to every question. The rooms are simply beautiful and the quality of finishes throughout is super high end. A work of art. Would highly highly recommend!

Rooms are amazing with small kitchens very spacious. Rooftop patio with hot tub has clear view of Acropolis It might which is a 20 minute walk A long time. There are couple of restaurants and 2 convenience stores 1 block away.
Greece I found in general buildings are poorly maintained do not judge the quality of buildings around as it is not concerning. Area is safe!

Amazing stay. Staff were so polite, helpful and generous. Would love to stay again if we return to Athina.

A true hidden gem in the city center of Athens. The room was spacious and very beautiful with the most amazing view to Acropolis. The staff were friendly and welcoming and easy to get in contact with. Cleaning every day - no matter what time we left the room. And on top of that, a nice rooftop with spa and plenty of room for relaxing. Would definitely recommend this place (in walking distance from most sights in Athens)

Great hotel with amazing staff. From little touches like a big bottle of water in the fridge everyday and Greek food specialities on arrival, to a great spread of luxury toiletries and kitchen with plenty of crockery etc, this hotel is doing things the way hotels used to do things. The rooms are beautifully curated with great facilities and a comfy bed, but the staff make this place special, so kind, friendly and helpful they make you feel special. Spiros gave us some great recommendations and helped us get our bearings and the locale has a great vibe. The only slight negative is that the hotel is on a very busy road, but there is a crossing. It just means if you’re in a city view room you can hear the road. That said, the room seemed to be quadruple glazed and the traffic didn’t wake us or anything, and I’m a light sleeper. They also provide face masks and ear plugs so if it did bother you. I also think if you had the rooms facing the other way you light not notice at all. Don’t let that put you off though, I still give it 10/10, just if it’s available maybe spend a little more on a non city view if you’re a super light sleeper!

Beautiful hotel, everything was very high quality - stylish, minimalist design, comfortable, and every need catered for. Service was light touch (in a good way). Fabulous roof terrace with a hot tub overlooking the Acropolis.

Loved the place. It was so comfortable and clean! I loved the view of the acropolis and the hot tub. I also loved the kitchen and the all that they provided for us to have a comfortable stay. The staff was also so attentive and very welcoming. It was close to so many markets and restaurants as well
As all the museums. There was free parking all over and we walked most of time except in the days we took day trips to Corinth and other areas.

This place was so nice! Clean, friendly, safe with coded locking doors to building. Walking distance to acropolis and many restaurants m. Highly recommended

This property is a gem in the middle of athens. The rooms are so artfully done. The view of the acropolis was astounding. The staff was so helpful with all of our needs. Everything about Monastik was perfect.

We had a wonderul stay. The hotel was very chic, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a marvelous view of the Parthenon from our private balcony! Our host, Demitra, was very welcoming and gave us a list of all the places to visit. It was a perfect way for us to explore Athens. Would love to visit again!

The hotel itself is a true gem. Our room was nothing less than spectacular—spacious, beautifully decorated, and meticulously clean. The individual hot tub that came with the room was a fantastic addition, offering a private oasis where we could unwind and enjoy the stunning views, which were absolutely breathtaking. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their kindness, thoughtfulness, and unwavering smiles. Their genuine hospitality played a huge role in making our stay so enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to our next visit

We had an amazing stay with Monastik, very nice room as advestised with great view of Acropolis! Tasteful interior and very good cleanliness.
Extremely helpful staff both in reception and housekeeping! Thank You so much for the extra assistance when we had to extend the stay due to illness, it made the rest of our trip.
Practical solutions with codes instead of keycard.
We will absolutely book again!

A real hidden gem in Athens. The rooms are very efficiently laid out and individualized. We stayed at the penthouse suite with direct elevator access via pin code and a stunning alcove as the balcony.

A true gem of a hotel! I highly recommend staying in #21, if possible. Dreamy view of the Acropolis outside your window only highlights the overall experience. Tasteful modern decor with a great attention to detail. The box breakfast was fantastic as well! I will definitely stay again when I return.

Excellent place to stay! Great design and service! Night view from the roof top was awesome

The room is prepared perfect, the staffs are all so nice and friendly. It was a so close to Acropolis and walking is a good choice to visit Acropolis and other attractions. The only shortage is that it is not a traditional hotel but a very nice Air-b-n-b.

They stay was great! The room was very stylish, and the staff was very accomodating

Beautiful rooms that are more like mini apartments, roof top hot tub and lounge area with a view of Acropolis is a beautiful oasis. Walkable to some nice restaurants nearby as well as to the Acropolis (~25 minutes).

Much appreciated. Loved it.

The property was phenomenal along with the service! I would definitely stay again!!

Loved the room. And the service while we were there. Unfortunately, we had to changed our date and the only room available was smaller than the one we originally reserved (which has a view of the acropolis), and this “lower level” room faced the street, which was noisy at night.
We loved the decoration, the comfort of the room, spacious bathroom, kitchenette, and the quality of the linens and furniture.
However, I must add that the rooftop is tiny and hence misleading from the images I saw online. Also, the entrance is small on a busy street. Which I do not mind, but my husband was not happy with it. Granted, I reminded him that this is a BOUTIQUE HOTEL…
I will just ask to adjust the description of the rooftop.

In front of the hotel, it’s a little rough. Sidewalks look torn up and it’s by a motorcycle delivery service so lots of motorcycles parked on the sidewalk. But when you get inside everything is beautifully decorated and high tech. The locks on the door were insanely modern. My husband was fascinated by it. I loved our stay but if you’re a light sleeper, this may not be the best place for you. It can get loud as the hotel is on a high traffic road. They provide a bunch of vanity items including ear plugs. My husband couldn’t sleep that well but it didn’t bother me or the kids. They also gave us a welcome basket with snacks and we got a free bottle of champagne, water and an alcohol bottle. The large water bottle gets replaced daily though Athens tap water is fine to drink. We appreciated the mini kitchen with plates, cups and coffee and tea. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great place, beautiful penthouse suite with views of the Acropolis and private jet tub, hotel staff friendly and helpful, good area, walkable

The suites are beautiful. Literally everything you interact with from the light switches, to the dishes has been selected with intentionality and it shows. Those small touches make such a difference between an ok hotel and a fabulous hotel.
We had an incredible view of the acropolis from our suite and from the rooftop pool. Spiros the hotel manager is so sweet and helpful. Hands down would recommend this hotel.

We arrived at midnight and there was no one to accept us. This is not a hotel ! It is an air b & b that is twice the price ! On top of that, they charged me for extra 40 euro for another person (we were 3 ant not 2 at the room) ! Who dose that ?! You pay for the room. Total I paid 270 euro for a night at air b & b that you pay less than half.

A beautiful boutique hotel. The view is absolutely stunning from the roof top. The roof top is cozy, gorgeous and relaxing. Was able to view the sunset and Parthenon from there. I will admit the exterior was less than expected, but this may be typical for the area. The interior was extremely nice with all the amenities needed. We were able to take a 15 minute walk to see the Parthenon and the surrounding sites.

The location is not very good actually and you need to climb a hill every time when you going to that hotel.

When arriving from the airport the entrance to Monastic initially was not readily apparent and somewhat inconvenient to move the luggage, so initially we thought we had made a big mistake with this booking. But once the door opens things changed quickly and with the assistance of the friendly and helpful stuff were shown our room: A large "Studio Apartment", great view, nice bath, kitchenette and any modern amenities one can imagine with a welcome basket. Staff showed us the roof terrace making the view of the Acropolis even better; Nearly all sites in 15 minutes walking distance; a place for couples who want to experience Athen; No, the Monastic doesn't have a common breakfast area or a bar but there are an ample number for every taste in close proximity.

Wonderful hotel with exceptional extremely personal staff.

Excellent! Exceptional! Loved everything about it and i would rave about this hotel even if it didn’t have the view of the Acropolis.
I travel over 100 nights per year for work and personal reasons. This has been one of my favorite properties that I’ve stayed in. The design is spectacular.

We have just returned from a fabulous 6 night stay at this well designed apart-hotel. The rooms are decorated to create an aura of peace and calm, and are well furnished with both chairs and a chaise longue. A nice welcome pack is provided and there is an excellent kitchen area with all necessary amenities, including fridge, kettle, coffee machine and microwave. The bed was large and comfortable, with good quality bedding. Great views to the Acropolis. Even a hot tub and roof terrace. The lighting/heating/cooling are controlled via a digital keypad in your room. We also loved the privacy that you don't get when you stay in a big hotel - with just 11 rooms, we never saw another guest during our stay. The only downside is location - the hotel is on a busy road, but you really only notice that when you come in and when you leave. In terms of distance to the sights of Athens - nowhere was very far away - Plaka was a 10 minute walk. We tended to go out for the day and return late afternoon. If we needed anything to eat in the evening then there is a great little street a 2 minute walk away (come out of the hotel, walk down to the traffic lights, turn right, and walk to top of the hill) - we had a fabulous brunch at Popalaros and great pizza at La Nonna. There is also a small supermarket and a pharmacy on the street.
