The breakfast and tea set is awesome. Value for the money. Can we have one of this boutique hotel back in Penang?
You couldnt get this service with the amount you pay in Penang

Amazing small hotel with great friendly and helpful staff. My family loved the bathtub and the lovely arranged Japanese style breakfast.
The small provided fridge is not really cooling any drinks.

breakfast is japanese fusion and the location was always 15 minutes from the centre and ofcourse, you need to have a car in order to travel to the destination which would be much more convenient for you to commute. The overall experience was good, just that if you stay at the lower ground, there would be people from cafe to walk around the area to take pictures of their nice garden, if you consider to have more privacy then you could book other room which doesn't have the garden view. However, the overall experience was good and the room is spacious and indeed clean.
Nothing much that I could tell, because the overall experience was sort of very good which I really like it.

The breakfast was amazing!
Staffs were friendly and helpful.
Room was clean and up to our expectation! We had a relaxing stay during our trip to Ipoh.
Shelter/ canopy over carparking area would be great if that's possible which will be helpful during rainy days. However, hotel did provide umbrella if required.
Car parking was quite limited but we managed to find one during our stay.

The minimal japandi interior in minimal space and area was impressive. Everything still looked new or well preserved. Water pressure was great. The independent Netflix account is a bonus. Minimal but all the amenities or needs are complete. Staffs were accommodating as much as possible. Eateries were nearby.
Accessibility to room only by stairs. Limited parking space due to car park sharing with other customers for the cafe. Facing the main road, noise disturbances at night resulted from the traffic shall be expected. The porridge for breakfast can be improved more though.

Great quality amenities were provided. Got a good steamer to iron out our clothes, the towels were big and fluffy, the yukatas were easy to wear, the shower had a rain shower and hand hold head, the bed was comfortable, youtube premium and netflix were provided with the smart tv, there's a ceiling fan incase it gets too cold, the toiletries were in full size, they even provided shavers and combs which is very rare for a boutique hotel and the breakfast was also good. The staffs were very helpful and accommodating.
The quadruple garden room was very small for 4 adults who brought cabin sized luggages. We couldn't move around much as there weren't enough space to even move between the two beds that was 5 inches apart. My friend who slept on the bed next to mine would constantly brush arms with me when we were sleeping, the beds were THAT close. The space between the tv and the bed was only one foot apart. We had to use the sitting area to store our bags instead of using the spot to sit and have tea like we envisioned. We felt deceived by the pictures. Would also like it better if they could provide a designated spot for hotel guests instead of having to fight for parking with their cafe customers since the cafe does have frequent patrons coming in. There was only one trash basket to use that was in the toilet, none for the room. The hot shower kept switching between hot and cold. Lights for the toilet had a million switches which were mixed with switches for the room. The room had big mirrors but bad lighting so we had to take turns doing our makeup in the toilet. The minibar had a glass door which eliminate brightly and directly to our face which was even worse because as I mentioned it was only one feet apart from our bed. The blinds for the sitting are was see through. My friends and I felt unsafe as we girls had to change in the toilet for privacy and because there's no space to stand in the room. Also, the cafe should close off the entryway heading to the hotel as anyone without an access card could simply walk in at anytime into the hotel area. The great quality of amenities and amazing service from the staffs made up for all the bad points. The quadruple room may have 2 large beds but the room size was actually suffice for only 1 king bed. I couldn't wait to back to my own home for proper sleep as the fridge constantly bothered me with its lights and sounds.

the overall ambiance we stayed at garden view was very pretty. The cafe served good food and tea . we loved our breakfast . We loved the overall feel of the cafe too. Very japanese. We liked that they provide yukatas in our room. As well as sejadah n arah qiblat. Nice bathrooms too w beautiful warm shower.
The downstairs room do not hv privacy. Many noisy guests frm cafe go to garden to do their tik tok or take pics. Also the built up of the room is pretty small to accomodate for the 2 beds. We found it hard to hv space to do our prayers. At night the neighbour’s dogs are pretty noisy always barking

Lovely little motel with a fab matcha cafe in the front. Service was good both at the hotel and cafe. Loved the complimentary tea set that was given to hotel guests. Each set comprised of 2 mochis, 3 diff drinks and a mini mooncake. Such a lovely treat.
