The cabin was extremely rundown and dirty. The beds and furniture were very old and uncomfortable.

Worst experience ever!!! This place was the most disgusting place we have ever been too. We checked in and went to the cabin and immediately went straight to the office and did not stay or even sit down there as it was that bad. Also had exposed wiring and all the smoke detectors didn’t even work. Was the worse experience ever. As we also had to get a new room at a different place. We would tell everyone DO NOT STAY HERE BEWARE!!!! Horrible and DISGUSTING

Very comfortable bed, and a nice room in a good location. The shower was really bad though.

Cost per night $387
Bedrooms at Cabin #30 were located right by the main street and were very noisy.
Beds were extremely uncomfortable. A couple of mattresses had springs popping out. Sleeping on the floor would have been better. Sheets had stains. The mattress for the queen size bed was made of two small mattresses zip tied together.
Carpets and sofa were extremely filthy.
Bathrooms were gross. White shower curtains were stained brown. Individual shampoo bottles had already been used.
Main entrance door had no safety lock from the inside like you would expect at any hotel

The bed was reallllllly uncomfortable. Like a permanently unfolded fold-out couch mattress on a platform.

Little romantic cabin with its own private yard and private jacuzzi tub. Quiet little spot. Very clean. Want to come back with the whole family!

We opted for an overnight stay at a resort, and while the last-minute availability of a cabin was appreciated, it did not meet our expectations for a one-night stay. Despite some drawbacks, the resort offered a pleasant experience, but the bed proved challenging for me as a 5'2 individual, and I struggled to climb onto it. My husband, who stands at 5'11, also found it difficult to get onto the bed, although he found it comfortable. Regrettably, the pull-out couch was not up to par due to wear and tear, featuring large holes and unevenness. To mitigate this issue, I had brought my portable mattress, which fit neatly onto the couch and, when layered with blankets, provided a tolerable sleeping surface.

All and all it was great. A little disappointing that when I hooked this location I booked it based upon the pictures that featured a pool and when we arrived the pool wasn’t available. And I thought I upgraded my cabin to a larger cabin with a king size bed and a full kitchen, I did not get either. The living room light and bedroom light did not work, but the gentleman was extremely on top of that and provided us with lamps so that was great. The cleanliness was upsetting, the pillow cases were very dirty, someone’s trash from there coffee was left in the bedroom, didn’t look like anyone moved the couch for a long time because I found a bunch of dead bugs and ants under the couch surrounding old food and crumbs. Overall it wasn’t the best but not the worst either. I am however upset i paid for the family cabin and I still got the smallest cabin and nothing worked properly and the pool was a major disappointment

I liked the privacy. The location is very convenient. The property management was attentive. The price was right. It is a little on the run down side.
6.0 / 10.0
It was a bit outdated with only one window A/C for the whole cabin.

Place was okay, but for the prize on top of a resort fee… not really worth it. The place is a bit dated, and could use some retrofitting into something more modern.

The grounds its self needs to be maintained, can barley see past bushes to exit grounds. the rm we got wasnt quite what we picked but was a suitable cute cabin. However, cleaning needs to be done better maybe clear cobwebs n dust, wifi was no gd, cable was non existent, couches were broken n missing a leg n dishes were dirty. Pool n spa were empty so no using those... The restaurant was gd thou n store or bars were close for walking. Rm upstairs could use a TV n beds were pretty comfy.

I liked the picnic area that was only 10 minutes walking distance from the property. My daughter played and sleighed there, it was fun.
Cons: The mattress in the bed is uncomfortable. It's an old spring mattress that is also hot. So I didn't get a good night's sleep.

Decent room, but extremely expensive. $300 for one night in the cabin, but overall, it felt dirty. There was writing, dirt spots, and scuffs on the wall beside the bed, and the cabin had a weird smell upon first walking in. We had told the manager about the writing and he told us it's been there before. The stained couch looks like it's been taken for free at a garage sale, covered up with a cheap cloth. I did not sit there. There were also broken blinds behind the bed.
During our stay, we have tried to communicate our concerns about the room to the lobb
Like I said before, it is a decent room, but not for the price. Before looking at the Bear Creek Resort, I'd recommend searching elsewhere.

Couldn't find anyone in the office to check in. Had to wait over 2 hours before someone answered the phone. The unit was ok. I had to use several Lysol wipes before I felt like the kids could touch the stair rail etc. After I did the wipedown (I do this anytime I stay outside the home) the stay was comfortable.

It was nice and peaceful . I’m glad we stayed here

I appreciate the the parking was easy, and each room had its own exterior door, so we had easy access to the snow and a cute little front porch. That' where the positives end. I usually choose tourist-quality/economy hotels, so I don't need the frills, but this was unacceptable. The room was visibly dirty, with hairs on the toilet and sink. The walls in the bathroom were also visibly dirty, so it was obvious they had not been wiped down in quite some time. The bathroom also had no counter space and no shelf, other than the back of the toilet tank, so this made it impossible to keep toiletries accessible. The TV would turn on, but no picture of any type came up, so we had to use my phone for entertainment in the evening. The bed had a huge depression in the middle, so it was very uncomfortable. The worst part was the decades old furnace/heater that made loud pinging and ticking noises all night long. I could live with a constant humming, like a white noise, but these noises were inconsistent and loud, making it impossible to sleep through. The office was closed from 5pm, so there was no one on site to ask for help. There are lots of options in the Big Bear area... I recommend picking one of the others!

The cabin was terrible with respect to the price of the stay.
No ventilation in the bathroom.
Poor condition. I found the hanger in the bedroom is broken.
WiFi connection is very bad in the cabin and so much interruption. When working it is slow.
I can clearly hear the people staying at the neighboring cabin next as if they are staying with us in the same cabin. This is completely unacceptable.
I booked through hotels.com and check in time is stated from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. I got a text message at 5:30 stating that the office is closing at 6:00pm and not enough time to stop by. Had to text a copy of my ID and CC to check in before 6:00
