About this house rental
A Lake Norman waterfront charmer with a modern, chic style, Dock Days received renovations and additions in 2017 to increase the house's amazing space. The foyer was added, giving guests a large, modern entryway with see-through views of the large windows at the back of the house and amazing lake views. This 4300 sq foot, three-level home has 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths.
The main level features open-concept living with a renovated, fully stocked, white kitchen with an island, stainless steel appliances, seating for 3, and a pass-through butler's pantry turned quaint coffee bar to dining room with judges paneling and seating for 8. Off the kitchen is a spacious large living area with a large sectional TV and eat-in kitchen area with seating for 6.
The eat-in kitchen area provides access to the side deck and grill for guests to cook their favorite meals! Adjacent to the living area is a reading space featuring a mid-century, modern leather sofa to curl up and grab a book with fantastic lake views. Included is a need one, take one bookshelf for adults and children. The main level also boasts a primary bedroom with an ensuite bath and a large walk-in closet.
Dock Days has plenty of sleeping options on the upper level, with 3 bedrooms and two full baths. There is a family bedroom with an ensuite bath featuring a queen bed and a twin-over-full bunk sleeping 5; King bedroom, and bunk room with two twin-over-full bunks and an updated hall bath to share.
The lower level features a kitchenette & game room, a full bath & bedroom with a twin bed and trundle, which converts to a king bed. The game room has a conversion game table featuring air hockey, ping pong, and a pool! A great space for the family competition to ensue!
Outside at Dock Days is a great place for relaxation & games. It features a newly constructed flagstone patio with a built-in fire pit for nighttime snacks and downtime after a long day on the lake. A grill is provided for guests' use. The house has kayaks and stand-up paddle boards for guest access, along with a variety of life jackets. There is a large dock with a sectional in the sitting area and a huge swim platform for kids to enjoy swimming in the lake or sunning on the dock.
Dock Days is truly a vacationer's dream. Remember, Lake Norman has no restrictions, so it's perfect for extreme water sports like water skiing and wakeboarding. Take advantage of the private dock, which is large enough to accommodate several watercraft. Be sure to keep your water toys close at hand!

Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay. The property company was so accommodating with some last minute issues that came up and we ended up having the best Thanksgiving!

We were so pleased with this beautiful home. Comfort and cleanliness were top notch. House felt brand new and was fully equipped with everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay with family. Property managers checked in throughout stay.

This was our first framily vacation with our best friends which included three couples with two kids each - 6 kids 5 and under. The house was PERFECT! It was clean, comfortable and had a great layout. We rented a pontoon for the weekend and used it to motor

It was a beautiful remodeled home. We loved the floor plan and interior design. Wonderful plentiful windows to enjoy lake views. The water equipment was so enjoyable. Our property manager was very attentive. The kitchen was well-stocked. The neighboring homes and docks are very nice and the neighborhood is beautiful.

Dock Days was a very nice house, the house was very clean when we arrived and we had a great first impression of everything as we all came in. We went for a family gathering for 4th of July. However, it quickly turned into a nightmare when we had no AC in the main area of the house from the first day we arrived and continued for 21/2 days. We were miserable since it was 85 degrees inside and trying to cook was the worst. I would recommend this property but I would ask about the AC units working first before arrival. It was 95 degrees outside and 85 inside. I wished that we could get those 21/2 days back because our experience was ruined by the fact that we were burning up.

Great place lots of space and everything you need to have fun. Only down fall is it’s a little bit out there. For us it was fine but anyone looking for night life may have a hard time. Not many options for ride shares either. We had a blast for what we did though.

We enjoyed our stay in Denver at Dock Days home! It exceeded our expectations! The property manager is extremely quick to respond and take care of any questions we had. There was plenty of space for all 14 of us and even had extra stuff we didn’t know was there, but we enjoyed!! (SUP, life jackets, etc) Don’t hesitate to book this place. We would gladly come back again!

The house was clean, but it smelled like mildew on the ground level. Also, not sure if there have been cats in the house in the past- but everyone was having to take allergy medication.
On a positive note, the house was well equipped, and the kids had fun playing in the water and using the provided paddle boards.
Overall, we felt it was overpriced. Our trip was for a lacrosse tournament nearby, and maybe prices were higher due to increased demand, but we wouldn’t pay that much to stay there again.
