About this apartment rental
Casa Camilo is an apartment located a short distance from the town of Vico Equense. It is 65 metres squared and can sleep up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the lounge. It features air conditioning/heating, a terrace and WIFI internet access.
At Casa Camillo you are a 6-7 minute drive or a 15 – 20 minute walk from the centre of Vico Equense, where you will find bars and restaurants including the world famous ‘Pizza Metro’ where you can order a delicious metre long pizza, a Michelin star restaurant and Gabriele’s popular ice cream parlour with more choices of ‘gelato’ than you can ever imagine! There are also many shops and public transport. Here you can catch the train to Pompeii, Naples and Sorrento. As Casa Camillo is also only approx. 10 minutes’ drive to the beach, it is the perfect location for a mix of a beach and sight-seeing holiday. Its location is close enough to the city centre for all the attractions and easy access to the main tourist spots but also in a quiet location so you can relax on the terrace whilst enjoying the breathtaking view of the gulf of Naples. There is a pizzeria a 5-minute walk from the apartment and there is also a supermarket on the main road which is approximately a 10-minute walk. On the main road, there is also a bus stop which will take you to Vico Equense town centre in approximately 5 minutes.
Casa Camillo has its own parking (under a car port) and, from here, it is a short walk and up approximately 30 steps to the private entrance which is gated.
Next to the front door, in the gated area of the apartment, there is an external spiral staircase, with approximately 15 steps, which leads to a large terrace with a veranda. The terrace boasts amazing views of the coast, sea and Mount Vesuvius in the distance – it is the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Here there is an outdoor shower to cool off if you are sunbathing. You will also find a table and chairs so you can dine ‘al fresco’. There is also a BBQ. In the veranda, there is a kitchenette so you can prepare snacks and a washing machine, clothes dryer, ironing board and iron.
As you enter the apartment from the main front door (at the bottom of the spiral staircase), there is a small corridor which leads to the open plan kitchen/diner/lounge. Here, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table and chairs, a TV, air conditioning and a large sofa (which can become a sofa bed). The kitchen has an oven, gas hobs, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, a kettle, microwave and a toaster. At the back of the open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, there is a balcony which boasts wonderful view of the coast. It has a small table and chairs so you can dine ‘al fresco’.
Off the open plan kitchen/diner, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe, a TV, air conditioning and a window with a wonderful view of the sea and Mount Vesuvius in the distance. In the second bedroom, there is a single bed and a pull-out bed, a wardrobe and a window. There is also a TV and air conditioning. The bathroom, which is located between the two bedrooms, has a shower, a toilet, a sink and bidet.
This is the perfect place to relax but also visit the key touristic sites of the Sorrento & Amalfi Coast.
