Our stay at The Blacker House in Manistee was tons of fun. The house is huge and has so much beautiful woodwork throughout the home. Seeing all the history within the home was amazing. If you're looking for a pristine, modern home, this is not the house for you. But, if you're looking for ample space with history - this could be a great fit! A large grill, big kitchen, dining room, and living room (plus lots of bedrooms and a ping pong room!) make it an easy house for getting many people together.
Our kids had tons of fun playing the yard, and heading to the park across the street. The downtown area of Manistee was only a few blocks away and we were able to take some great walks to enjoy the area. Overall - a great trip to Manistee!

We had a surprise 60th birthday party for one of our siblings. The house had everything we needed to prepare all our meals, to sleep comfortably and restfully. The large living room gave us ample room to rest, relax and enjoy each other. Manistee offers a fun downtown with restaurants and shops. We spent hours hiking and at the beach. It was a wonderful weekend full of memory making.

Built in the 1890’s the woodwork is amazing. We enjoyed the ping pong table on the third floor but to get to one of the bedrooms you had to walk through another one. Plus, the bathroom on that floor was a half bath making it a chore to take a shower which were all on the second floor. The kitchen has all new appliances and two refrigerators. Plenty of space to dine. The group that takes care of it for the owners were very good in helping us to fix a few issues sending a guy right over. All in all a good house (wifi & 3 TVs) for a big group, but don’t expect perfection
Just enjoy and have fun!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
