We loved the hotel! Our room was cozy and it had a very comfortable bed. We love the FLW prairie style and all the nooks and crannies around the hotel. The Leadlight Restaurant was also very good! Thanks for the hospitality!

We're Frank Lloyd Wright fans, so we enjoyed viewing the building features. You expect some minor inconveniences when you know the history of the building. Mason City has done a great job of making a downtown stay enjoyable.

This Hotel was so unique! It is an older building but with so much character and charm! It was very clean and the staff was exceptional! There were several great restaurants within walking distance and shopping also (I was there on a Saturday evening and most shops were closed by the time I got there and closed on Sunday, but I window shopped and they looked lovely).
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! Birdsall Ice cream was about a mile away and such an added bonus!

Wonderful, knowledgeable staff. If you're heading through Iowa, make this a stop. The building is amazing, the rooms are spacious, heated bathtoom floor in one of the rooms we had. Beds and linens were top notch.

Lovely stay in this beautiful and historic hotel. Centrally located in the center of town, that is walking distance to good restaurants and attractions. If we return to Mason City, we will definitely want to stay here again.

Very easy check-in and parking was directly across the street from the entrance. Period decor for Prairie style was fabulous as was all the historical info about the building.

Traveling to Mason City to see “everything Frank Lloyd Wright” included a wonderful stay at the Historic Park Inn Hotel. Great staff, great decor & a great restaurant for dinner. Absolutely lovely hotel in small town Iowa!

Check in was gruff. Hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The hotel was not full but our request for a king bed was immediately deny without checking. Also, we expected a park view but instead faced an old building and alley from our room. A room darkening shade next to the bed would have been an accommodating addition. AC blower was loud when it clicked on. It was a beautiful setting and remodeling was well done. Overall it was a pleasant stay in a unique hotel. Don’t miss the tour so you can enjoy the history of the hotel!

A historic hotel. Initially on second floor and lots of foot traffic noise from above. They were very accommodating when we asked to move to the third floor. They moved us to a suite on the third with no additional charge.

Fabulous historic hotel! The last remaining Frank Lloyd Wright inn. Absolutely beautiful and unique furniture and decor, stained glass…like stepping back in time with modern conveniences. The staff is exceptional and very helpful, so friendly. We have nothing but great things to say about the Inn.

This is a cool place to stay for anyone, and it's a wonderful option if you know and appreciate Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture. My room was comfortable and pretty quiet, and I enjoyed how relaxed the hotel is. There is no pretension or tenseness in the employees. Parking is a snap, and you are centered in the middle of the city, so you can walk out the door and safely explore as you please. Two notes: reception had no idea that its own website mentions a restaurant offer for guests, so that should be corrected. Second: there is a fitness room hidden in the basement, and it was never made known to me until right before I checked out and I was poking around the downstairs.

This is the only existing Frank Lloyd Wright Hotel in the world, and Mason City has the largest concentration of Prairie Style Homes in the USA. There are great walking tours available related to architecture and the City's permanent sculpture tour with 80 pieces. It is a surprising city to visit!

Reasonable price for historical hotel and welbuilt and clean. I wish they had more choice of teas and the room of closet were not to be combined with tray of condiment
.

Absolutely beautiful. Everyone there was so nice. Amazing place to go if you’re a fan of Frank Lloyd wrights work. Desk clerk Jim was so kind and extremely knowledgeable. Not to mention very helpful when looking for things in town or the area. He made our weekend stay very enjoyable! We will for sure be coming back!

First of all you are staying in a hotel originally designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and much of the interior decor reflects his ideas. I loved the small p;orch on the second floor where I sat and read for an hour before heading out for dinner.

the main attraction of this property is the design, and the historic features such as the Ladies Lounge and Law Library. The rooms carry out the theme in more subtle fashion.
It does lack some amenities-could not find a water glass, only a small tube of lotion in the bathroom to go with the big soap and conditioner dispensers.
Bartender was super nice and made a magnificent Paloma.

FLW, need you say more. Cool hotel design. Knowledgeable and super friendly hotel staff. Hotel restaurant food was very good. Server was not very experienced. kitchen had closed and we were not asked if we wanted dessert and coffee before it closed. Server was informed that my wife was gluten intolerant, but she failed to tell chef, and the salad came out with croutons and bread. Also, how many people buy the $5 bottled water in the room? Come on, make a profit but don't gouge.
