If you want a place to escape from all the day’s hustle & bustle of Zion & Springdale, this is the place to go!! It’s worth having to drive about 10 miles for the beauty & serenity of this property!
The hostess is so friendly & nice. She greets you & lets you know she’s there to make your stay as pleasant as can be!!!

We had a wonderful 6 day stay and that was not hardly enough. Our host, Shelley, met us as we arrived and made sure we felt welcome and walked us around the apartment to give us helpful details. The apartment was large and very comfortable - everything we needed - especially as we wanted to cook in for a few of our nights. Any questions I had for Shelley got a quick response and she volunteered many helpful suggestions. The views! Don’t forget the incredible views of the sunrise and sunset from the house. We made plans to see them every night. Wow. You are an easy 15-minutes drive into the chaos of Zion NP, so being outside the park, in a quiet neighborhood was perfect. Shelley also gave us the name of a woman who will do your laundry if you are on a longer trip. She picks up and delivers the laundry….perfect! All in all, we loved our stay in a quiet, comfortable place with a great host.

Our stay at Zion Retro Retreat was great. We arrived to a clean, tidy, cute, and well furnished apartment. Prior to and during our stay Shelley was quick and thorough in answering all of our questions.
We definitely needed a kitchen for our stay. This kitchen had everything we needed and then some. A very comfortable bed, hot showers, and spacious living area were icing on the cake. The views from the apartment were great as well. Waking up the first morning to a full moon setting behind the mountains outside the kitchen window was picturesque. A great start to our vacation after a long trip to get there.
The location is about 20 minutes from Zion National Park main entrance. It was nice to be able to get away from the hoards of people after spending the day shoulder to shoulder with them in the park. It's also that much closer to Kolob Canyon which is worth a stop.
There's a small park nearby right on the Virgin River. We also enjoyed the nearby scenic drive around Kolob Terrace and Smith Mesa. Nearby Balcony One restaurant and bar was a nice treat as well.
All that said, we are so very grateful that we found this place. If/when we visit again we'll check here first to see if we can get lucky again.
Thank you for the hospitality and comfortable accommodation.
