About this house rental
Nature walk, close to beach, family and pet friendly. There s a blend of rainforest, Bali and Byron Bay in this relaxed, elevated home, less than 10 minutes walk to lighthouse beach. Across the street is a tropical wetlands boardwalk and birdwatching area that leads you towards the 4WD and off-leash dog beach and camel rides. Dogs are allowed off leash south of the beach access and north to Watonga rocks. The patrolled surf beach is a short walk up the sand past Watonga rocks. If you take the path across the street it will also lead you to Blair reserve with a playground and dirt bike track. Great little cafes and convenience shops are a 5 minute walk. Coles, pharmacy and Tacking Point Tavern are 4km away. The home is renovated at the front and original at the back. The kitchen, living, dining and deck are renovated, the bathroom and bedroom windows are original. Living room has a ceiling fan and electric heater. The home is clean and tidy with beautiful ocean breezes if you open the windows and let the fresh air in! Lighthouse beach can get seasonally humid and the home is up in the trees. Sit back and relax on the large deck and listen to the sounds of the waves and wildlife.

Property was great and clean, location lovely. Major disappointment was we were at PT Macquarie for a family funeral. The website stated that the amenities included an iron and ironing board - it did not. Consequently we arrived at the funeral crumpled and creased. Also no dryer as stated, no basic things such as pepper, paper towel, garbage bin liners. Certainly not a deal breaker but disappointed considering the price charged.
