About this cabin rental
Survey the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains from the top of Grants Mountain from the back deck of Moondance. Located within a dark skies community, enjoy the constellations and moon dance across the sky on a clear night. Located just minutes from I-40, situated between Asheville and Hickory, Moondance is a short drive to the shopping area and hospital. Paved roads make easy access to this mountaintop paradise, however, it is RECOMMENDED TO ARRIVE DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS.
There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on one level. Vaulted ceilings throughout this open floor plan bring the beauty of the outdoors in. Large deck to relax in the hot tub under the moon and stars. Make family memories where you gather around the large stone wood-burning fireplace, share a great meal prepared in the chef's kitchen, or play with your pup in the large, fully fenced backyard!
Cabin Layout:
Open floor plan for living room, dining, and kitchen. One-level living at its best! The living room has a TV and a wood fireplace. The dining table seats 6. The primary suite has a king bed with a full bath. The two guests each have queen beds and share a full bath in the hallway. Great deck with a hot tub and incredible views! A fenced yard area at the back of the cabin. Level 2 EV charger.
Please Note: This house is pet-friendly for up to 2 dogs with an additional pet fee per dog. Dogs are required to be current with flea and tick medication. Due to allergies, cats are not permitted. For security reasons, there are EXTERIOR security cameras (at the front door, driveway, and shed area), and the homeowner confirms the number of pets brought to the home via these exterior cameras. It is best to purchase a small bundle of wood or Duraflame pressed logs at the local grocery store. The fireplace is NOT operable from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Greybeard homes are located near Pisgah National Forest. Ladybugs and Kudzu Beetles are prevalent in our area in the fall and winter months, and they will find their way into homes to escape the cooler weather. They are not poisonous and cannot be exterminated.
Moondance will include holiday decor this season. Most homes are decorated by the first week of December, but please feel free to contact us for specific timing.
