Welcome to Alpaca Mountain Getaway! Built on ground that was once home to Colorado's first alpaca farm now sits this beautiful mountain townhome retreat waiting to host responsible, mountain loving couples, families and small groups.
★ LOCATION ★
The townhome's prime but peaceful location on the west side of Estes Park is just 2.5 miles from the Beaver Meadows entrance of RMNP and only 2 miles to downtown! The townhome sits just off a main paved road and is reached via a short, flat gravel driveway, making access in winter very easy.
★ INDOOR LIVING ★
The home's welcoming interior is open and bright and features a mix of quality mountain rustic and modern appointments. A wall of windows highlights the living area allowing an abundance of natural light to flood the space. A gas fireplace adds warmth and ambiance after the sun sets.
The warmth of the home carries through to the bedrooms. The main floor master features a king bed and en suite bath. Two additional bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the second with a queen bed and twin sized bunk beds—are found on the second level along with a large full bathroom. Young children will enjoy time playing in a secret playroom accessed from the upper level second bedroom.
★ KITCHEN ★
Quality full-sized stainless steel appliances and fixtures highlight the well-stocked, modern kitchen. For dining in, a picnic style dining table shares space in the open concept kitchen and living area. In warmer months, step out of the kitchen onto the rear patio and enjoy grilling and mountain air dining.
★ PARKING ★
Free parking in front of the townhome for up to three vehicles is provided.
★ ADDITIONAL ★
Additional townhome amenities include WiFi, gas grill and a washer/dryer. The garage is currently unavailable for guest use. Undeveloped land immediately adjacent to the property offers the opportunity to view grazing elk and other wildlife. Mountain views are enjoyed from the property and extend into RMNP to the west.

The street the townhome is on is too new to show up on most maps. The townhome location on the map in this listing is very close to the actual location. The area surrounding the townhome is a quiet residential area containing a mix of full-time residents and vacation rentals.

NO SMOKING, NO FIRES
My home was about a mile away from one of the largest forest fires in Colorado history a few years ago, so we are a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park's vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned; gas ones like ours are allowed.
ROAD CONDITIONS
Estes has a great plow team and our driveway will also be plowed during storms, but if there's a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!
NONPAYING GUESTS
Insurance forbids nonpaying/non-registered guests on the property.
AIR CONDITIONER
Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C. Thankfully mountain air blows down from the high peaks and will cool down the place quickly in the evenings if you open the windows and turn on the fans.
BEARS
Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area often and can break in!
MINUT
We use a Minut noise meter. It doesn't record audio, but instead monitors decibel levels, temperature and humidity. This is for the safety of guests & to protect the home. It also serves to warn us about parties & prevent noise complaints from neighbors. It's located on the ceiling of the hallway leading into the living room.
- No smoking inside or outside; no parties
- The townhouse has shared walls and is in a residential neighborhood
- Wood burning outdoor fire pits are illegal
- Check in 4pm or later; check out 10am or earlier
- Guests start dishwasher and laundry load of towels at checkout, which helps keep the cleaning fee lower than most homes this size

My family and I stayed here for a wedding over Memorial Day weekend. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It had plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed the games in the cabinet by the TV. Neighborhood was very quiet and close to so many things to do in the area. We would stay here again.

My family loved our stay in this townhome. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We used the kitchen a lot which had all of the basics you would need to cook a typical meal. The view was spectacular. We had lots of wildlife visitors including elk and deer almost daily. We would stay here again!

The duplex unit was even better than described. Very up-to-date, clean, and well furnished. It was close to town but in an area that was more relaxed. The entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is a short 5-minute drive away. We were all very pleased with the comfort and style of this property.

I couldn't have asked for a better location for everything we wanted to do in Estes Park. Convenient to downtown and the park entrance and the property had great amenities, was clean and comfortable. Very happy stay, wish I could have stayed longer!

Beautiful, comfortable and roomy place for our family of six adults. Fully stocked kitchen (we like to cook), great location for visiting Rocky Mountain NP and Estes. Quiet street, parking for two vehicles, roaming wildlife just outside the cabin. Floor to ceiling windows bring in lots of light, with no problems of lack of privacy. Beds and rooms very comfy, would definitely come back, next time with littles so they could enjoy the hidden play room!

This place was super clean and in a perfect location. Our 4 kids loved the playroom and all the books and games. We appreciated not having to pack a pack n play and high chair. Plenty of space for the 6 of us. Enjoyed our time, it had everything we needed!

This was a perfect place to rest after the Thanksgiving rush. We were 4 adults and 2 young children. The playroom was a huge hit with the little ones and the living space was roomy for ALL 6 of us to play games, watch kids dance and have great left over meals. The townhome was clean and exactly as described and management was quick to respond and great to work with. We would all highly recommend.

The house suited our family of parents and adult children so well. We were able to relax, each have our own room, and have close proximity to Rocky Mountain NP as well as some great restaurants. The home was well equipped with kitchen items we needed, and we couldn't have been happier celebrating my husband's milestone birthday!

The place was nice and the location was optimal, especially if your destination is RMNP. Only complaint was the master bed was exceptionally soft but that's more of a preference thing. Would recommend!

Entire house was very nicely decorated. A couple of lamps in the great room, additional dish towels, and more comfortable great room furniture would have made this a perfect place.

Was a bit hard to find but got there safely but a bit late. The road isn't on Google maps yet but worth it. Only down fall was the eye soar of construction, other than that beautiful place. Will be going back. Rooms was big a cozy. Would be nice to have some privacy fence, the neighbors were just gawking at us so I gawked too with weirdness for long periods of time lol 😆 definitely needs tvs in every room. Love the place thank you
