The house was pleasant but there was a plague of ants everywhere in the kitchen, and we had trouble connecting to the wifi as the passwords sent to us by Stayz was incorrect. There were two different passwords on a sign on the fridge, but the password found underneath to modem did eventually work. Otherwise we would have been without a telephone for 2 weeks and would have had to go home. The contact person was not very available and was unable to help with this. Many of the electrical appliances have seen better days. The oven is about to fall apart.

This property has fantastic water and bush views into Berrara Lagoon and the National Park. Lovely house, well stocked with everything you could need or want for a family holiday. Communication with the owner was great and we had a great time.

We recently had a 2 week stay and the house was amazing for our family. So much room for the whole family upstairs and downstairs with TV's in both lounge rooms which gave the kids a great place to hang out (downstairs). Also had an amazing kids bedroom upstairs with a third TV for relaxing. The central kitchen, dining and lounge area was great for family time together and overall the house was very tidy and well maintained. Great location not too far from the lagoon and being on the edge of the bush makes it peaceful and great for bush walks. Overall it is great holiday house and I would highly recommend.

The position of this house was amazing due to the view and proximity to the lagoon and playground. However when we added extra guests to the base price, which was for 4 guests, the price was very high in peak period. We definitely paid for the view, not the inclusions.

We had a lovely little Easter getaway, accommodation was in a perfect location close to the water with views but just far enough away to be peaceful and private. Correspondence throughout booking process with owners was very pleasant and efficient. The house was clean and provided plenty of space for a comfortable stay for our 2 families with 2 toddlers.
The only suggestion I would make would be to notify of no hot water 1st night after check in as tank heats overnight, so remember to shower yourself and children before leaving home.
Overall a very pleasant stay in a beautiful location. Happy to book property again in future

We had a great stay over the new year period. The area is the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle, unlike other beachside towns at this time of the year.
The house backs onto the national park and faces down towards the lagoon, where we swam and paddleboarded. A little further on, still within walking distance is an un-patrolled, but safe swimming beach with light surf - the best of both worlds.
The house has recently been updated and is very comfortable, with some great classic books and dvds to view on quieter days. The view and breeze from the balcony is very relaxing, you just yearn for a hammock! The kitchen is well equipped, including with sharp knives! The only drawback is that half the draws/cupboards are locked which means there isnt much space to store your food.
Our family of four stayed for a week and could have easily stayed for a few more days. A lovely relaxing holiday.

This place was extremely good value. It is such a quiet area and perfect for the kids with the lagoon just down the end of the street and the playground. The house was very clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed. They even offered use of their bikes, which we took advantage of. I highly recommend this house and the owners were a pleasure to deal with.

Our family of 8 had a wonderful time here. The house is comfortable, well equipped and impeccably clean. The teenagers appreciated the separate living areas. We all enjoyed the large collection of books. The location is fantastic. Five minutes from the beach, beautiful bush walks starting right outside the house and kangaroos on the front lawn one morning - wonderful. We are planning on returning next year.

The location - close to beach, lagoon, National Park, Sussex Inlet area. Lots of lovely widlife which the children loved. It was also reasonable value for money considering the size of the property. Quite a homely feel to the place with lots of books and a fantastic fully equipped kitchen great for preparing family meals.
