About this apartment rental
Close to the centre and yet in a quiet location: We look forward to welcoming you to this exceptional 104 m² holiday flat! The stylish, sustainable ambience with beautiful natural stone, real wood floorboards, solid wood furniture, balcony and garden invites you to feel at home. Perfect for families and 2-3 couples!
The entire flat is equipped with underfloor heating. The natural stone floor made of travertine in Mediterranean style creates a holiday feeling in the hallway as soon as you enter and invites you to walk barefoot. Each stone is unique - as are the solid oak floorboards laid in the living rooms and bedrooms, which create a natural living environment.
The wardrobes in these rooms are also made exclusively from solid wood. Some of them are rare, beautiful individual pieces, over 100 years old. The antique furniture comes from historic Dresden and gives this holiday flat a very special flair. Furniture like this is a sought-after rarity today - every guest can enjoy it here!
The bedrooms are quietly located and equipped with shutters and blackout curtains for an undisturbed night's sleep. The bathroom is a small oasis of well-being in Mediterranean style with natural stone and warm flooring. There are two separate workstations for the home office with the option to retreat.
Both the light-flooded veranda and the balcony face the sunny south side. Here you can relax wonderfully and enjoy the view of the beautiful large garden, which you can of course also use. In the summer months, there is a small seating area and a hammock in the garden.
For children we offer a large selection of books, toys and a baby cot. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
The holiday flat is located in a quiet side street right next to the Technical University. Just 2 km from the main train station, the accommodation offers short distances to the city centre and Dresden's most beautiful sights. For example, you can reach the Semper Opera House and the Zwinger (both just 5 km away) in just 9 minutes by car, 14 minutes by bike or 25 minutes by bus or tram. The Altmarkt, the centre of the old town, is only 8 minutes away by car or 10 minutes by bike. From there you can reach numerous museums, the famous Frauenkirche church and the banks of the Elbe on foot. In the run-up to Christmas, it's worth taking a stroll through the famous Striezelmarkt and the historic Christmas market.
Just 300 metres from the holiday flat are the bus stops for bus lines 66 and 360, which will take you to the main train station in 4 minutes. This is where Prager Straße, Dresden's most popular shopping street, begins. You can also take the S-Bahn from the main station to Saxon Switzerland to go hiking.
Even if you want to take a trip to the beautiful Erzgebirge mountains, you have the ideal starting point: bus no. 360 (bus stop just 300 metres away) will take you there without having to change buses. If you want to go skiing or snowboarding, it only takes around 50 minutes by car to get to the Altenberg ski lift.
Free car parking is available on our street directly in front of the building, as long as it is available. Unfortunately, these are usually occupied by TU employees during the day, but before 8 a.m., after 4 p.m. and at weekends there is always a free space right outside the front door.
If you want to rent bikes, you can find the popular "MOBIbikes" rental bikes nearby on the TU campus or a bike rental shop in the immediate neighbourhood.
