About this apartment rental
2 Bed 2 Bath with Gorgeous Mountain Views
This splendid spot on Taos' 'Backside' near lift 4 gives you 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, a full size kitchen with all new appliances, and high ceilings with picture windows over dining and living areas. This condo has easy access to the Bavarian restaurant and Kachina Basin retail as well as the backside operations base, Williams Lake and Wheeler Peak trailhead access, and Taos Ski Valley's Lift 4 and Rubezahl return trail for ski access to the main base area (Pro Tip: if you take Rubezahl down to the base at lift 1 from lift 4 you can't get back up to the condo on skis after the lifts stop for the day - you'll need a ride). This property sits above 10,000 feet in altitude and 4wd/AWD are a must for getting to and from the condo, but you can walk to the lifts if you're not shy about a little hike down the (fairly flat) road. 100M Internet, Smart Roku TV with Dish Network connection and DVD player make audio visual entertainment easy.
Wheeler Peak Condos have unparalleled views of the ski area - Kachina Peak, the K Chutes and Highline Ridge - even upper Lorelei. The large windows also look up toward Lake Fork and Wheeler Peak and out back to Gold Hill. Morning light is spectacular and Alpen-glo indescribable.
