About this villa rental
The view at Villa Epicure is every bit as sumptuous as any in-house gourmet meal prepared by a private chef.* With seven bedrooms and seating at the table for fourteen people, the promise of good company rounds out any fine meal supped at Villa Epicure, Mairgot, St. Barts.
Stepping out from beneath the veranda and alfresco dining area onto the pool terrace, guests find a long infinity pool stretching along the horizon with sweeping views of Marigot Bay and the sea. A swim in the pool and a peak down below reveals Marigot’s white sand beach. Villa Epicure stands high on a hill overlooking the bay with nothing to obstruct the all-day views.
A teak-wood veranda supported by black pillars, decorated with elaborate urns, and secured by an invisible glass balcony railing would deem Epicure a stately Villa with a subdued opulence that exudes wealth in confidence. The main living space, for instance, displays two featureless, L-shaped sectionals facing one another across the room. Between these, a table with a recessed center offers up decorative palm fans in a glass vase and ample space for guest use around the edges. Smooth stone floors lead to a slate stone feature wall, behind a stage lit for musical or theatrical performances. For more rehearsed entertainment, a large television stands in an adjacent living area.
The stage is right next to the kitchen, which displays bold black counters and cabinets with brown stainless steel appliances and soft lighting. Multiple bar chairs at the kitchen sit adjacent to the dining room table so everyone guest has views of the ocean and stage at any given time.
Slate stone also tiles the sky-lit shower that stands in the middle of the indoor, en-suite bathroom in one of seven bedrooms at Villa Epicure. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with an open plan shower, vanity, water closet, and terrace access with views. Spacious walk-in closets and his/hers bath robes enhance the quality of immediate comfort, while televisions, air-conditioning, wi-fi, and ceiling fans provide more ambient comforts. In-villa spa treatments*, ample pool-side lounging, and queen beds in every room round out only a sparse outline of what Epicure has to offer. Distinguish the flavors of Villa Epicure’s delights with a visit to Marigot, St. Barts.
