About this house rental
This iconic 17C thatch cottage is situated in one of the Cotswolds most beautiful villages - Chipping Campden. Hoo Cottage is the landmark for the beginning of the Cotswold Way (102-mile long-distance footpath, running along the Cotswold Edge escarpment of the Cotswold Hills) It is one of the few thatched, cotswold stone properties across the region. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property while offering the comforts of modern amenities.
It is thought that Hoo Cottage used to be the home of the village baker, we found evidence of an old wood oven when renovating. Who knows, maybe one day we will take on the task of restoring it.
Upon entering, you'll be welcomed by a cosy living room featuring a traditional open fire place. On the other side of the two way fire, there is a well-equipped stone kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals.
Upstairs, you'll find two beautifully appointed bedrooms that promise restful nights, and a good-sized bathroom complete with a refreshing shower.
Step outside into the gorgeous cottage garden that surrounds the property. Be sure to enjoy a meal in the garden if you are fortunate enough to have some warm weather.
We do offer off street parking for one car and plenty of space just outside the property for additional cars.
